Word on the curb is that while Zolciak was “working” as Big Poppa’s jump off, The Real “Housewife” of Atlanta didn’t pay her taxes.

According to CelebrityVIPLounge:
A source very, very close to the reality star told us exclusively that Kim claimed NO income, “yet big poppa was buying her $50k gifts and much more and she was spending over $200k a month.” She hasn’t been caught yet black america is being convicted left and right.
The source told us that “She wouldn’t even put her own social security number when her old best friend needed it for the emergency room back in 2008 when Kim was in LA and her daughter needed medical attention.” And get this, nor would she give her social security number to Vh1 for her paid appearance at Divas Duets. Fellow star Nene Leakes did though!
“She needs her jail time or pay up like the rest of us,” added the source.
The fact that Zolciak would owe the IRS doesn’t surprise me at all. Hell… just about everyone owes Uncle Sam these days, even Marlo Hampton has a few tax debts! BUT being as though Kim didn’t even bother to FILE her taxes while she was clearly a *cough* paid mistress, she should at least be held accountable for her annual tax return like everyone else.

Their are plenty of high priced mistress who do not pay taxes because technically they do not work. Car n luxury items dont have to be claimed as gifts if sold to you for $1. I’m confused…is this news or Hate? I’m sure she’s paying taxes on her RHOA salary, but people are mad that she didn’t pay taxes on gifts and money that was given to her? I understand paying taxes on the Divas Duets thing, but artists do it all the time when they perform and receive cash for their performances. If the promoter or booking agent doesn’t ask for a tax form, it doesn’t get claimed. I know y’all don’t like her, but this seems more like hate and fishing/reaching. It’s not hating, but whenever you’re on TV flossing about all of your "stuff" and where your money comes from, you never know who’s watching, including Uncle Sam. She’s not smart at all.
Your right, other stars do the exact same thing. But also they do get caught (just look at all the celebrities who had to pay back taxes or looking at jail time). What should get you is the fact that she won’t put her SS on any document, almost as if she told the IRS that she’s indigent and if she has her SS being used and showing that she had money for medical bills or getting payment then it would show that she have some income and/or they would dig into her finances.
Also getting gifts like she got has been tried before, and she still have to declare them. But unless someone outs her and tells the IRS that she is getting high end products and money as gifts she could slip under the radar. But after this and other media stories about her money, the IRS will be looking. Also you have to take into account that the IRS is known for allowing yourself to dig your own grave. If they went after you after not declaring taxes last year, you and your lawyer can easily say that you forgot and this was happening etc. etc., and so they can just pay it and any penalties without jail. But if you haven’t declared certain income or even a tax form for a few years then it’s hard to say it was overlooked.
Trust me they are looking at Kim, the IRS goes crazy after celebrities because it shows the regular plebs that no one can escape and it scares us into filling out taxes.

Actually gifts can be taxable depending on how frequent and the amount. Dividends, cap gains and losses are not taxed as income but they too have tax depening on when they were acquired and if they are converted to cash, securities etc.
