Here’s a tip: Go out and get sloppy drunk and you’re likely to have a slew of men following you around like lost puppies.
It may sound extreme, but a new scientific study suggests that evolution has created a strain of men who actually prefer dumb, sleepy and/or drunk women over those with charm, wit and intelligence.
[And you wonder why so many "good woman" are still single... ]

Being that “intelligent” woman are often waiting longer to have children, man’s primal instincts have evolved to seek out those chicks that display signs of being “easy pray” ie quick to give up the draws.
Over time men and women have developed conflicting reproductive strategies, with women preferring long-term relationships and men preferring more short-term relationships.
Males and females have traditionally differed in their minimum obligatory parental investment, their willingness to engage in sexual relationships and how much investment to place in a relationship differs between males and females, therefore, researchers participating in this new evolutionary study suggest that men are naturally born to have little concern for the consequences of casual sexual relationships given that their bodies produce somewhere around 85 million sperm cells per testicle every day.
In contrast, modern women are born with a brain that is still sensitive to the pregnancy-related consequences of short-term sexual relationships, making them more reluctant to engage in casual sex than men.
The happy medium? Dumb woman and/or alcohol… 
Researchers tested 76 men between the ages of 18 and 47 and found that they rated women who looked vulnerable as being more attractive than those who were more alert. Participants of the study compiled a list of 88 signs that suggest that a woman might be significantly open to a man’s advances.
Some of the cues on the list were lip lick/bite, over-the-shoulder look, sleepy; intoxicated, tight clothing, fat, short, unintelligent, punk, attention-seeking, immature and touching breast.
Afterwards researchers went on the internet and collected publicly available images of women displaying each of these 88 cues and crossed–checked them with a separate group of students who confirmed that the photos indeed matched the cues.
Then researchers showed the pictures to 76 men who were asked to judge the woman’s overall attractiveness and how easy it would be to sleep with her using anything from a pickup line to physical force, as well as her appeal to them as either a short-term or a long-term partner.
Images of fat or short women had no effect (the male participants did not view them as either easy to have casual sex with or appealing as partners) but men rated silly or childish-looking women or sleepy or drunk women as being an easy “score”.
Furthermore, men rated dumb-looking and tired women were also rated as being more attractive than their more alert or intelligent-looking peers.
The good news (I guess) would be that the women with characteristics men found most attractive were only viewed as short-term partners and not as potential wives.
In a follow-up study, researchers sought to determine whether there was a specific type of man who was most attuned to female ‘exploitability’ cues by measuring personality traits in the men themselves and found that more “promiscuous” men who lacked in personal empathy and warmth were the ones most likely to hone in on female ‘exploitability’ cues.
I’m assuming that means that not all men are dogs looking for an easy lay…
Is it true that men today seek ‘dumb and/or drunk’ women for reproduction and ‘smart’ women to marry?

Yes, men following around drunk women want to take advantage of them. This happens because sober intelligent women aren’t as willing to have sex with them, not necessarily because they’d prefer having sex with the drunk and/or dumb women.
The is not too far off base but worded all wrong. Men like to feel like men and that they are needed. In this age of independent women sometimes that is not the case so most men will migrate towards the women they view as fragile, needy, and that they could take care of and/or tell what to do. Sadly most of those type are either a drunk or dumb but if you pay attention to society you see it. Guys are holding on to these women that don’t mean them no good, stalking them, harassing them, confronting the other lover, etc..

I only see a poorly written article that claims to talk about a study, but no references, no links to a published peer-reviewed journal.
I find this study to be bogus but you definitely displayed the right person as far as someone being a drunk and looking hella dumb because Beyonce surely fits the story….
