I revealed the official cast of VH1′s new show Love and Hip-Hop Atlanta a few days ago and now the cast photos have been released and the world is all a tizzy!
My good blogger buddy Freshalina hit the tweets recently and pretty much described what we all were thinking when we first laid eyes on these new set of promo pics…

This summer, VH1 is bringing a southern-fried tale of struggle, love and temptation to Atlanta, Georgia with an all new season of “Love And Hip Hop.” Premiering June 18 at 8PM, VH1′s docu-soap “Love and Hip Hop: Atlanta” proves love, music and the game know no boundaries. As the newest installment in the successful “Love And Hip Hop” franchise, “Love And Hip Hop: Atlanta” will feature an all new cast with their eyes on the prize of fortune, fame and family.
Among the main characters in this 10-episode series are Stevie J, a three-time Grammy Award-Winning producer who has worked with artists such as Diddy, Jay-Z and Mariah Carey, Stevie’s longtime girlfriend Mimi Faust, and a fiery up-and-coming Latina rapper named Joseline.
There’s no shortage of drama with this strong-willed trio. Also featured areLil Scrappy, best known for his 2006 smash hit, “Money in the Bank,” his girlfriend Erica Dixon, and his mother, a former hustler known as “Momma Dee.”
The hometown hero, Atlanta rapper Rasheeda, is still searching for that big hit after years in the hip hop game, but she’s constantly at odds with her manager Kirk Frost – who also happens to be her husband. Rounding out the cast are the talented songbird K Michelle, and Trinidadian R and B singer Karlie Redd.
I still feel some kinda way about the bulk of this cast.

I love K. Michelle she is the only reason why I am going to watch this show. She isn’t from the ATL but at this point who really is, Atlanta is like the black version of LA a bunch of transplants. This Cali girl will be watching.

K. Michelle is the truth! The girl can really sing and if you’ve ever listened to her songs you’ll hear her pain.She sings for a lot of us..the single mothers just trying to make it..the women dealing with a man that ain’t shit..for us who have had the breaks beat off of us..her songs are for everyone but truly for those in the struggle! Download what’s the 901 (her mix tape) and get up on it. And why the hail is Scrappy on the show? Without Diamond we (the general public) could give a dayyum!

I’m watching for Rasheeda & K. Michelle. I love them they’re the truth. Sidenote: I wonder will K. Michelle be mentioning MeMpHiTZ & all the drama of they’re pass relationship, because she’s been very open about it in the past and in her music.
ATL has a host of talented KNOWN artists, video models, executives and industry insiders that would have been much better suited for this cast but didn’t make the cut because they believe in PROGRESS not PROBLEMS. Aside from Rasheeda and K Michelle this cast doesn’t appear at all exciting and even those two don’t elicit a whole lot of interest since they have lived as an open book through their own music
‘Southern Fried’ is another way od saying KUNTRY A$$ H*LL…. I can already see that this show is not going to portray ATL in a POSITIVE light. Aside from K. Michelle and Rasheeda, who knows the other cast members? So you know they are going to goi in EXTRA hard to make a name for themselves and along with that is going to come alot of foolery and fighting. But it should make for interesting tv. I wonder who is going to be the bully and who will be the SHIT STARTER in this cast? HMMMM… we shall see….
