Those of you who have read StraightFromTheA for a while, know that DWL has made a huge difference in my life after I lost over 75lbs last year.

I’ve gained 12lbs back with all the traveling I’ve been doing lately but I’m back on track now. And even with my back sliding, I’m still proud to say that I’ve kept the bulk of it off for over a year!
That being said, I’ve tried to encourage others who have also struggled with their weight and have received several emails with people showing off their results.

Hi hun!!
Just wanted to take some time to share with you some before and after pics and thank you for helping get on the path to a better healthier life. Michelle as you know I am from MS originally and I found your blog and started following you about 2 and a half years ago. I was always interesting in the things that was going on around Atlanta since I had wanted to be here for such a long, long time. So I would watch you on YouTube and read your blog because I really love what you do.
As time went on and I watched you on your blog and saw your pics that you posted, I thought to myself am I seeing things or is she shrinking. I didn’t want to be rude by asking but I could tell a real difference in you. So I asked you what you were doing. You told me about this great program called Dramatic Weight Loss and told me how well it was working for you.
I was so excited about it because I had wanted to continue on the path I had recently started with my weight loss bootcamp. I knew that I would be moving to Atlanta soon and I wanted to have a new look and a new attitude. I managed to shed a few lbs before I got here but you told me that when I get here and when I was ready you would be there to encourage me. And you did!!!!!!!
I finally made my mind up and I went to see the doctors at dramatic weight loss. They explained the program and encouraged me as well. I started the program 1-13-12 and so far I’ve lost 63 lbs and I feel better than I’ve felt about myself in YEARS!!! That’s just a little over 3 months I’ve gotten my confidence back and my health back. I’ve gotten my life back. And it’s all thanks to you chica!!
You and Marissa have been the biggest cheerleaders I’ve had. I really appreciate y’all for being there for me. But especially you Michelle. I know I bugged you for months and months about the program and you were always there to answer all my questions.
I’m not at my goal yet I plan on losing at least another 65 lbs but I’m on my way to the being in the best shape of my life. Thanks again girlie!! You’re like the big sis I never had! Open-mouth smile
I attached some before pics and some of the current me. The ones with me in the blacksweater was my first visit the day before I started the plan.
The second pic with me in the striped blouse and jeans is me exactly 1 week later and 14.5 lbs lighter.
The newest pics are of me about 3 weeks ago at about 53 lbs lighter and I’ve lost 10 more and still losing. Huge difference huh?

Michelle, where can I get info about this program..I’m 135 lbs and I want to lose about 15-20 lbs. I know 135 lbs isn’t a lot but I’m only 5’0 so I’m actually overweight

Do you know how there program works if you dont live in Ga?
Michelle, the program probably wouldn’t do as well for you because your already a smaller weight size. You probably would fair better toning and doing Cardio and even then it might be slow considering your muscle vs. fat, solid weight vs. jelly roll, etc. I am not saying the program is not good, its just not for everybody. Congratulations to the young lady and I hope you keep up the good work. ATLien, (this is not being smart), if your going to promote a program or give a testimony of it..after pictures only will not do, we need to see where you came from. You look very nice by the way.

Atlien, I guess I did miss them but keep up the good work. Most blacks don’t take their health/weight serious enough so I am super excited that your doing something about it. With the curves we naturally got, a little toning and tighting, these magazine chicks aint got NOT NOTHING on us. Do yo thing, sis!
although i am very happy for you and your goals, i am very disappointed in DWL. I have reached out to them on their website, and befriended them on facebook for questions because i am out of state, and they didnt have the decency to answer any questions or respond. it’s fortunate that my money spends anywhere, but even after waiting all this time for a response-since January- on how i can get on the program and get info, even if they respond now, i wouldnt be interested. there is a saying i take heed to which is: PEOPLE DON’T CARE HOW MUCH YOU KNOW UNTIL THEY KNOW HOW MUCH YOU CARE. Thats a number one business and customer service rule of thumb. please relay to get that clue for me. Good luck on your continued success on losing the weight!
@OrchidJones – I’m sorry you went through that! I know they’re swamped at times, but I’ve never heard of them NOT getting back with anyone. That’s not good… at all! I’ll definitely relay the message.
