These shows are pre-recorded. Tia already knew that she would be written off the show. They had to make it official by calling and letting her know "just so after the I’m happy here in Cali..I’m moving to DC" line. The show is to busy for me, to much going on in a 30 min span!
Wow it’s not going be the same without her the last show was good cause she wasn’t there. Y hate would they do that. They already took the white girl from u and put Brandy in her place which wasn’t a good move.

I’d already heard neither her nor Pooch Hall would be returning nxt season. Last night’s episode was definitely the prep for the transition with Derwin mentioning the “move” to DC……
I would always try to catch up every now and then but when it moved to BET, the format change was too much. But to answer the question, "NO." I will NOT be watching without ‘Girl Melanie’ – there’s really no point to the show without her. Her character balanced out ‘Tasha’s’ stereotypical narcissism and the other dumb crap the writers frequently tried to squeeze into a half hour.
Welp guess I will delete this show from my dvr list…..I wish they would leave these shows alone and stop firing.everybody!

it’s only a matter of time before The Game is gone too…but it doesn’t matter b/c I’m NOT watching any longer now that they have pulled this dumb move…no "Girl Melanie"and yes we KNOW soon no Derwin!!!! it was obvious with his phone convo w/Girl Melanie last nite about "what did you have in mind for this move to DC" i MEAN REALLY!!!..I tried to hang in there when they took Kelly off the show..no disrespect to Brandy but REALLY! not a good transition at all. So seeing that I don’t like Goodbyes..I’ll just turn my back and wait to hear of the END to The Game.

so many shows try to survive the loss of a main character but very few are able to make the transition effectively. This is the beginning of the end at least in terms of quality.
I saw Tia’s announcement first. Well if she was fired I wonder why? I thought she quit. It seems strange that Tia and Pooch would both be leaving. That’s why I never get too wrapped up in television because you really never know what’s going on behind closed doors. The public rarely ever gets the real truth.

i agree with ms aries~~~ fire everyone take the show back off who cares i stopped watching long time ago…the actors are not that great and the only one can act is pooch and that bald mixed dude..everyone else was not impressive to me at all…tia need to take time and be with her son…if you rich why you working when you got a small child, take the year off and be with your child then go back…money hungry stars don’t get enough they are too into themselves…ugh!!! book, chile please what can you tell me and you a new mother? keep your book and your reality show you and your sister erk me…i dont understand why she married an old white man and you never even showed your white daddy and black mother and sister and brothers on your show….ugh…go somewhere and sit down and raise your baby, they probably got tired of your demands about you andyour baby!!!
Well she lives in LA but has to travel to ATL to film and i’m sure that took its toll on her marriage and her new role as mom. Eh, that show was lousy anyway. This season has been a let down and good for Tia to get out before the fans give the entire cast the boot!
Once it hit BET, it was garbage anyway. That said, good for her. It did not fit her resume anymore. It is now, seriously GARBAGE.
THE REAL REASON SHE IS NO LONGER ON THE SHOW
1.)She can’t seem to drop the baby weight
2.) Her acting is worst and she is boooorrring
3.) They cannot conceal how unattractive she has become (that makeup is very Tammyfaye in above photo)
4.) Derwin and Melanie never had any chemistry
5.) Viewers complained that the show is horrible since its returned to TV.

Wanted: Great and entertaining shows on BET. Also add in better decision makers for writers and overall staff. BET removed Monique Show and some of the best actresses for the Game. BET in the words of Spike Lee …..wake up.

I knew it was reaching when they had Tasha fucking a male prostitute. And now it comes out she was just a straight hoe…I was not feeling that.

Well the show has been the same since Jason’s wife left the show, she was a very big part of the show, and now they don’t even mention her. so Tia leaving is a good thing, get out early while you can and why and show is still on the air. They have Tisha Mack looking and acting like a fool anyway. Only watch is nothing else is on.

I acutally agree with the earlier poster. It seems like she can’t lose the baby weight. However, they shouldnt have fired her if that’s the case. Also, they should have never gotten rid of Kelly Pitts!! Or cut her hair!!
This is foolish, if they were going to do all this in 2 seasons, why bring back the show at all. And by the way they do bring up Kelly. Melanie brought her up when she was meeting Chardonnay for the first time, she kept on saying she was good friends with his first wife, and that she will try not to give her a hard time, however she is not Kelly,and that she is a very very good friend of hers.
No reason to watch BET. I only watched this show when it came back but once again the two main characters couldn’t be ghettoed down enough to match Jason figuring out he’s black and dating a girl named after some wine. Straight ghetto
Like many others have already said, The Game was never the same since it returned. I think BET’s problem is that they put so much drama in it to live up to the viewer’s expectations of the show. But what they didnt realize is that they was adding unnecessary drama. I think they should have gave the viewers what they wanted and allowed Melanie to be pregnant by Derwin, and ultimately they should have started the show back the way it ended when it was on CW. Also,(in reply to an above comment) I wouldnt say Tia needs to raise her child, and not work, and I dont think she is greedy at all. Tia seems to be very humble and I feel that if she thinks that she can juggle both motherhood and work then she should go for it, life’s too short to not go after all your dreams and fufill them. Anyhow whats done is done. Its all downhill from here since Tia and Pooch are gone. I wish best of luck to Tia Mowry and Pooch Hall in their future endeavors!

It is that Tia’s marriage is strained as she was only in atl for 3 months. It isnt that she couldnt loose the weight gains as she is (it was 10mo later this past April 2012! when she was recording last year it was Sept 11, just 3mo after she had cree who was c section so tia couldnt exercise).
It is MONEY. The cast took a pay cut to move from Crappy White to Blkk EXPLOITATION TV. They were promised a pay raise after 2 years if they met certain goals which they exceeded with the 10mill viwers .
BET dont wanna pay so Tia walked. Pooch was willing but w no girl Mel there cant be Ding Dong Davis.

I tried to get into this show but it was just all over the place…SMH…definitley not watching now.

Ive been disappointed in this show every since BET picked it up! The entire cast went from being classy to trashy. The story lines are awful now. There is nothing positive about it anymore and the chemistry between Mel and Derwin was not there anymore. Every since Tia got married in real life, I think her real hubby may have had a problem with her chemistry with Pooch (Derwin) because she and Derwin never kissed or showed any affection on camera anymore. Tia’s lines always seemed rushed and you could tell her heart was not in it anymore.
Oh wow! Since THE GAME went to BET, I only watched 2 episodes and was like o.O what the heck and why?! It totally wasn’t the same as it was on CW(more interesting and made sense). Just watching those 2 episodes on BET made me gag…horrible script, confusing, BORING and ghetto!BTW I been stop watching BET smh GOOD LUCK TO TIA AN POOCH! The GAME will be THE END..I give it 3 more months lol
With Tia and Pooh gone, I will probably not watch the Game on a regular, if at all, they made the show! Main top characters of the main characters. Even if they replace them with the same character, I do not think I will like it. This is a bummer. I will just watch something else.
