At the end of the video from the event, you can clearly see Phaedra speaking privately with the family and while that big check shows she donated $1,000 (way more than the obligatory $250), word on the curb is that after that talk, Parks even slipped the family MORE DOUGH!
Details below…
I received the following email tip yesterday regarding the event…

subject: Your Blog from the Be A Hero Charity EventHi Michelle,
I am one of your followers on twitter and your blog and I read your post from the Be A Hero Charity function. I was there as the event photographer.
The reason that I am emailing you is because I have additional information on the event. I won’t go into details about my observations regarding Phaedra’s and Sheree’s personalities, but what you don’t know its that after the event, Phaedra slipped Addy’s family extra money in addition to what was already presented to them!
Below is a quote from the director?.
“Director of National Events, Jill Pavel (Wish Upon A Hero Foundation) says that working with Phaedra Parks was an incredible honor. Phaedra represents the mission of our organization promoting American’s helping Americans.
Phaedra presented a $ 1000.00 check to little Addison a 3 year old child with leukemia. The event was well over and Phaedra stayed behind to talk with all the wish recipients and lend a hand to our tired team.
When she thought no one was watching, she quietly slipped another check into the hands of Addy’s grandmother.
That my friends is a SUPER HERO.” “
Let me know if you need a direct quote from Jill. I can send you her number and email address.
Thanks!
