Usher Raymond and his ex-wife Tameka are still in the midst of hashing out the details of their on-going custody battle.
The couple appeared in court Tuesday, May 1, 2012 to begin the trial, only to be subjected to court ordered mediation.

Day 2 of the mediation resumed yesterday (May 2, 2012) and Usher & Tameka returned to Fulton County courthouse, where they remained behind closed doors for several hours attempting to resolve the issue.

According to SandraRose, who sent a spy downtown to gather details:
Usher is battling Tameka for custody of their sons, Usher Raymond V, 5, and Naviyd Ely Raymond, 3.
Usher believes Tameka is an unfit mother and he is asking for full custody of his sons. Usher and Tameka currently share joint custody of the boys. Yesterday, the judge ordered both Usher and Tameka to hash out an agreement behind closed doors. But the two parties could not come to an agreement that suited them.
According to my spy, a court appointed Psychologist was called to give testimony about whether Tameka Raymond was mentally stable to keep custody of her two son’s, however Usher’s attorney filed a motion to exclude media during the testimony of the doctor, citing details of a sensitive nature that would not be in the best interest of the children if the details were made public.
We can only speculate as to what that means. Obviously, Usher is worried about Tameka spilling the beans about something personal pertaining to Usher. READ MORE

I don’t think either of them should have full custody. Boys need a father in their life, but Usher’s schedule is too unpredictable. Work it out, parents.

ITS OBVIOUS USHER OR HIS PSYCHOLOGIST AREN’T THINKING OF THE BEST INTEREST OF THE 2 KIDS B/C IF THEY WERE THEY WOULD KNOW HOW MUCH MENTAL DAMAGE IT WILL DO TO THE BOYS IF THEY ARE SEPARATED FROM THEIR 3 OTHER BROTHERS AND THEIR MOTHER. Couple thoughts… How somebody interprets Usher requesting a psychological review of Tameka into him being scared of gay rumors is beyond me. He’s trying to protect his sons from knowing how crazy their mother is, not how gay he is, which I doubt anyway.
Secondly, just because Usher seeks full custody does not mean that the kids will be separated from their brothers. Even if he has full custody, Tameka can and most likely will receive some kind of visitation rights. Usher even spoke well of one of her other sons on the radio recently so lets not get over dramatic here now.
Tameka should be happy that Usher wants to take the boys and raise them. That’s what a father is suppose to do. My ex raise our boys and I had visation rights. There are many woman who would love this, but most men aren’t willing to set up to the plate. It doesn’t make you a bad mother, there just as much his than the mothers. I was able to go to finish college and get a good job. I spent good quality time with the boys, our bond is very special. I am so proud of their dad, for being responsible. There is nothing that I wouldn’t do, for him. He is a great father.

I just can’t see whey they both can’t get along, period. Usher, the money bags of the operation, can have visitation and all that. He is the father, and WANTS to be a father, duly noted. Tameka, on the other hand, doesn’t have a dime, riding off her hubby, and she couldn’t even keep her marriage in check..going here for plastic surgery and her man didn’t even know it, smh. Seems to me, that if you raised kids before or not, ACT like you want to be a parent, period.
