You may recall that the two were arguing over everything from Tameka’s Sak’s discount to Usher’s “alleged” drug use.

In the midst of the dispute, they even held separate birthday parties for their youngest son, Naviyd’s 3rd birthday party last December.
The former lovebirds appeared in Fulton County courthouse in downtown Atlanta earlier today where there were given an ultimatum by a Superior Court judge: come to an amicable agreement… or else HE will do it for them!
Details:
TMZ was on the scene today as the singer and his ex-wife showed up to court this morning where a judge ordered them into private mediation.
The two then went into the judges chambers to try and hash out a temporary custody agreement in lieu of all of their demands.
They’ve had all morning to work something out — but if they don’t come to terms soon … they’ll face the judge again this afternoon … when he’ll impose a temporary order, deciding how Usher and Tameka will split their time with their kids.
The order will also address child support.
As we’ve reported, Usher and Tameka have been fighting over their kids for years — Tameka wants full custody, claiming he secretly uses drugs. Usher has denied the allegations, asking for an increase in daddy time. The couple currently shares custody.
So far there’s no word on IF the two finally came to some agreement but one thing I know (that TMZ didnt say) is that it was Usher who initiated the custody battle last year.
UPDATE: *as of 6pm, Usher and Tameka had failed to come to a resolution. Mediation will resume tomorrow.

Just for the record, Usher has been playing it safe when it comes to his relationships since he’s been on that worldwide comeback trail.
Ursh and his camp are in agreement that it’s best to keep his relationship under wraps for now. Clearly since he caught so much flack with his very public marriage to/divorce from Tameka, they all realize that Usher is much more marketable as a single man.
He even claimed to be “single” in an interview just last month…
He’s no dummy, that’s for sure…. Thoughts?

What a mess Usher has created and yeah I said it,because this is all his fault. He worked with Tameka for years she styled him,laughed, joked with him,he saw her interacting with her children and husband at the time and I’m sure she advised him on relationships he had while they worked together personal and professional. So one day he decided he just had to have this woman,because the world was against it, but specifically his mother then suddenly its Usher and Tameka against the world a modern day Bonnie & Clyde. He marries a middle aged mother of three and then they have two son’s together, but unfortunately; knowing Usher’s demanding/hard to please personality type sometime after the 1st son was born he began to lose interest so she quickly has baby number two. This way even if he was considering leaving her that would make his decision all the more difficult,because he didn’t have his dad growing up and wanted to raise his sons in a two parent household. In the end they both start showing they’re age…her by running off to some foreign country for plastic surgery weeks after giving birth only to almost lose her life trying to look perfect for her unfazed husband and him by becoming easily embarrassed by her set back from complications during the operation. Now the once lovebirds are both at each others throats constantly! Tameka is bitter, because she was blindsided by Ushers betrayal and is out to make his life a living hell for leaving her and Usher is looking for his Momma in yet another middle aged woman and the only reason that it has lasted this long is because he knows that the relationship is killing Tameka slowly….she still loves him so let the saga continue.

As far as Grace, I don’t know if I could date someone that didn’t acknowledge me. Even if he just said, "yes, I’m seeing someone, but it’s not serious," or, "actually, I’m focusing on my career." But to say I’m single? Takes a strong woman.

The problem most people have with Meek! Meek!
1.People felt that Usher could have any woman he wanted
2.How could he pick an older (Seasoned) woman with 3 children,ex-husband
3. Meek! Meek! is a regular round the way chick ( which gave hope to other regular chicks),and she didn’t fit the standard beauty type but she managed to pull Usher.
4. Usher mother still held out hope that Chilli and Usher would get back together. (remember ladies: When the mans mother have in her mind of who she would prefer her son to be with she can make it difficult for you. Especially if that man do not have a back bone Ahem! I don’t understand the negativity towards Tameka. Personally I don’t think the woman is ugly. Apparently she was pretty enough and good enough for him to marry her in the first place. She also seems to be a good mother which goes very far in my book. She was working and supporting her kids and lifestyle pre-Usher. The two just need to get some sense and do what is best for the little ones.
Tameka if you still love that man, let it go and get you a new boo. He clearly has. Life is short girl, move on. Continue to take care of your kids and yourself.

I’ll never understand people battling in court to end up having a judge tell them when they can see the kids THEY made! I refuse to be one of those women. We should be adult enough to work out a resolution on our own. We made the kids together and we make decisions about their lives together. And to prove Tadesse Cooper wrong…there are many of us strong black women out here who are not spiteful! Not being supportive of the black female is part of the problem in the first place. Treat us like your QUEEN and we’ll treat you like the KING! Plain and simple. In this circumstance it should be all about the kids. Usher is not in his mid. 30′s. Usher is in his early 30′s (33). Usher is the one who initiated the custody battle…not Tameka.
Usher couldn’t make it work with Chili so you know he got issues. Seems he is still a bit immature and not ready for the type of commitment it takes to make a successful marriage. I’m sure Tameka is probably burnt out relationship wise and two more kids to raise on her own might make her bitter. Isn’t Usher also her third husband? This was probably some sort of rebound relationship for one or both of them and rebounds NEVER work! I feel bad for the kids.

I still feel bad for her, because years after the divorce she’s STILL being harrassed by Usher’s "little freaks" he tried to do that, but it didn’t go anywhere). However, Tameka is already well provided for by Usher, plus I’m sure she’s getting money from the other boys’ dad as well. She also runs two businesses. She needs no more money because she’s doing better than most. As far as Usher is concerned, as much as I love me some Usher and can see him being a huge manboy, accustomed to having his way and being an unbearable ass when he doesn’t. Usher was on Rickey Smiley radio show last month and when they discuss Chilli he had a big smile. He wants CHilli and I hope to see them together again. Chilli is his soul mate.
