The sultry songstress, who’s NEW LIFE album hit shelves yesterday, is a fellow ATLien and has all the qualities of a TRUE ‘Atlanta Housewife’.
Mo has ties with several members of the RHOA cast (Mama Joyce, Kandi Burruss & NeNe Leakes all attended Monica’s wedding last year to Lakers star Shannon Brown) and Bravo Andy asked her if she’d ever consider being a “Real Housewife of Atlanta“.
Her response was a bit surprising…
When pressed for an answer, Monica admits she couldn’t think of a good reason, so maybe… just maybe… she and Andy had a lil chat about her joining the cast since Sheree Whitfield is rumored to have just gotten her pink slip.
Monica also discussed her former rivalry with fellow “Boy is Mine” crooner Brandy and their current working relationship, as well as her Usher’s ego and her desire to one day work with Mariah Carey…

Monica should kindly decline that offer. She will end up broke, divorced and desperate. Kim nEEDS TO GO! She was a foil for NeNe and now that they no longer are friends, she needs to exit to the left. Her relationship with the other girls seems forced and phony. Sheree yanked that wig but ended up kissing her ass. She had a dust up with Phaedra over her due date, but Phaedra ended up kissing her ass. Phony! Monica should not go on this show….the reality show curse is real. As Woo43 said, Monica will end up broke, divorced and desperate. Let’s be real, no one really wants to see a classy person on any of these shows. People watch it for the drama. The first lady, Lashawn (or something like that) was kicked off the show because she was too boring (she seemed classy to me). Yet, Nene is getting jobs left and right and she is super fake. I can’t stand the sound of her voice anymore. I can’t even watch the show when it first runs, I have to DVR it and then go back and watch it so that I can fast forward through Nene’s (and sometimes Cynthia and Kandi) segments. Monica does not need this. If she is unhappy with her life, she should do the show, but if she is happy (as she seems), she should stay far away.
At least if they add her then they will have more people with real money, who didn’t need their man to get money and plus can I get some real ATLiens not cynthia,nene and sheree who are not really Atown down
I hopes this works out. Monica is really too classy for this show and I don’t want Marlo or NeNe up in her face. Perhaps they can learn from her.

Monica is the essence of a real woman. I heart her and her sense of style and I wish she would start a clothing or shoe line. Keyshia Coles could learn a lot from her, specially how to dress.
@ TheOne Monica’s show was boring, but that’s what I loved about it. It had no drama and it was centered around her family and her music. Reality tv is all about drama and the good shows with no drama are always canceled. Mean while they made a franchise outta Keyshia and her family.

You made the headline sound as if she actually said yes or is thinking about it. Monica says "they don’t want me", that’s her nice way of saying she doesn’t and wouldn’t want to. Monica is classy. Something about her has always reminded me of Whitney.
