Through her connection to the popular television show, NeNe has landed yet another acting role!

NeNe has landed another recurring role on NBC’s “The New Normal.”
According to the AJC:
She’s had a well-received recurring role this season as a tough-talking swim coach on Ryan Murphy’s “Glee.” Now Murphy has tapped her again for another recurring role on his NBC comedic pilot “The New Normal” about a blended family of a gay couple and their surrogate, according to Deadline.com.
She plays a character named Rocky, though the article provides no details of what that entails.
Hopefully with all those new Hollywood connects, NeNe will be gracious enough to hook her former friend Sheree Whitfield up with a J.O.B. being as though she may be getting Lisa Wu-d during Season 5.
[Sidebar: You may recall that Lisa Wu (aka Sharon Millette) started off taping the 3rd season season but about midway through she faded to black and disappeared without a trace. But I digress...]
There are many who have been asking if NeNe will return to RHOA next season, and while nothing is concrete as of yet, my sources have all confirmed that she’s NOT GOING ANYWHERE.
So we can still expect to see Leakes making her paper as a paid Atlanta “housewife,” while still cashing all those “Trump Checks” from her side gigs.

TRUE @ Ebony! I feel where you are coming from with your stance. Now that is the only problem I am having with NeNe. She’s getting roles that are close to her own ‘real’ personality. I respect that fact that Nene is making money BUT that does not excuse her behavior. It isn’t hating if you are telling the truth. I’ve watched RHOA from season one and the "growth" Nene is so proud of has not occured. If she is so over the "smalls" she will not waste time talking about them so much and will simply smile, wish them well, and keep it moving. But no, she spends most of her time on twitter retweeting comments hateful towards her other cast members and talking about them. Grow up.
Its funny how you talk about her talking about her castmates but muchnduring this season and on twitter much of the trash talking came from the smalls Kim and Sheree.
