Mario Marlo Hampton, the ex-con/background character on The Real Housewives of Atlanta was spotted rocking a dress previously worn by Minaj.
The emerald green silk taffeta gown with black battenburg lace and broderie anglaise bodice was created by Oscar de la Renta for their Spring 2012 collection and Nicki rocked during last year’s American Music Awards.

Its post such as these that saddens my heart for my race!!! Who is perfect? Who dosent have a past? …We are not better than the next person and the past is just that. Black women knock each other down instead of lifting one another up. All the reality show women have issues, yet they are still black women working and holding their own. Its none of our business who slept with who or how she got that car, dress, etc!! Sure it makes for a hot story, something to keep folks coming back but at the end of the day…I would prefer to read about the good things these women do and see what they are wearing, how fabulous they look ,without all the gossip, assumptions, name calling etc……Our race will never overcome the hate, jealously and envy that brews within unless we make a conscious decision to change that within ourselves. First, I started reading this blog a few months ago and liked it. This thing with Marlo though is gettin’ really old. I don’t know what the real issue is, but it comes off as jealousy. Yes, I know, as you stated in the Phaedra post, that this is your blog and you can say what you want to, but the posts on Marlo are starting to make you look worse than you’re trying to make her look.
For red carpet events, designers usually loan the dresses to a celebrities and sell them when they get them back. We all know she’s not pressed in the fashion area. That dress situation is not as serious as you make it seem.
Finally, I find it extremely disrespectful the way you keep talking about Marlo’s friend that committed suicide. In your hate for Marlo, you’re actually disrespecting the family. What if it were a relative of yours? Would you want the situation to keep being brought up, especially when it’s not positive?
