A CeeLo Green demo from 2007 has recently been leaked online for a song called “All Alone Now”.
The song was originally intended for the late Whitney Houston and was recently unveiled by super producer Wajeed:
The A&Rs at RCA were calling every and anybody to find a sound for her 2009 release, I Look To You. I worked on seven or eight different versions finally deciding on this one with additional parts from Simon Katz from Jamiroquai.
Lyrically, Cee Lo nailed it! At the time she was going though her very public separation with Bobby Brown. He wrote the words as if she was speaking directly to him.
I wish I would’ve been able to hear her wonderful voice singing these words, but for now Cee-Lo will do.

This was actually recorded by Beyoncé but she passed on the track… Maybe that’s why it wasn’t released by Bey cause Ceelo wanted it for Whitney!
One thing is for sure, we all get a chance to see how amazing Pro Tools (voice editing) can be for "singers"

I personally love myself some CeeLo but he should NEVER have sang this,sounded awful. And no matter the message,the melody is depressively sucking. Bey passed this up cause she knew this was a track skipper. Put it back in the can and toss it.
This guy wouldn’t even make it pass auditions on AMERICAN IDOL. He sounds horrible. Ceelo can’t sing…why do people pretend he can?
