Perry’s latest flick, in which he stars as a married businessman who crosses paths with a struggling single-mom cleaning lady (Thandie Newton), opens this Friday (February 24, 2012).

Brought Madea out of retirement?!?!?! Some men will go to any lengths to put on a dress & some makeup. For shame! The funny thing is that I watched the episode of The Boondocks where they spoofed him. HILARIOUS!!!!! Its alright to cross-dress for Christ. LMFAO!!!!!
I wish he would stop making movies too. Tired of him and these same tired concepts.
Once again a story line that a woman needs to be saved by a man. Hell, why she got to be down on her luck she has a JOB, cleaning lady or otherwise! That’s most than what some people got. i’m not hating on Mr. Perry’s success, but he films need to involve more than the stereotypical image of a black person. Try doing a revolutionary film or one that would move the community to think for themselves or at least come together on certain issues. Since Christianity is a pedestal of most of his film, try making one about how they are being persecuted and executed in some foreign countries.
I think his 15 minutes are over.

Tsk. Who cares, everyone isn’t going to like what you do, but its a lightweight good film that the masses could use in todays world.

God gets the glory no matter what you haters say! No one ever questions why films & music filled with ungodly sex, greed and violence are constantly being made over and over. No! You still support that garbage, so why do people still criticize Mr. Perry for bringing something positive, that makes you think and laugh?! No doubt, whether you are not mature enough in Christ to see it, God is pleased and has anointed his work to speak to the audience who does get what TP does. Thank you Mr. Perry!
You can never knock Perry’s business savvy. But as time goes on, he is going to have to delve into other areas of cinema that don’t rest on typical stereotypes and comedies. Once he branches out and cover other topics he’ll continue to make movies and do well with them. He has filled a niche that went untapped for so long, so he’s still winning in the end, whether people like his stuff or not.

See THIS is what "YOU KNOW WHO" DON"T WANT his works known! His works,movies,plays, give women a VOICE ON SCREEN and in REAL TIME!!There are a LOT of MUSLIM men in this country,and a LOT of BLACK men who think the same way in terms of women. They don’t know a damn thing about the Muslim religion but they DO KNOW MUSLIMS KEEP WOMEN DOWN! So of course Tyler’s free thinking and becaused he LISTENS to ALL women are in agreement with the will of GOD which propels his work in his favor. Spike?..see the point? But Spike has to see past skin color before he can connect with real BLACKS. His sister is NOT included.
I love Mr. Perry, and I love the work that he does. I also love the fact that he keeps African American actors and actresses working. If it wasn’t for TP, how many movies would have came out filled with African Americans?Hollywood is not giving them a chance, but TP is. I think he is doing a wonderful thing, and I pray that GOD will continue to bless him. God gave him a gift, and he’s using it!
While I believe Madea has outlived her usefullness I must admit that Tyler’s other works are not that bad. People misunderstand his themes or maybe they do understand and just don’t approve. His movies aren’t about men saving women but the reverse. It is the women who save the men.
lol! i beg to differ though. TP is responsible for employing alot of black ppl that would have been turned away by Hollywood. so he doing his thang. i will agree that he should broaden his topics and use some new faces.

To the people who says he should stop making movies: WHY? If u don’t like it, don’t watch it. Its as simple as that. I personally love it the few times a year that I can get together with my family or girlfriends and go watch a black movie. I love it and I look forward to it. I frequent imdb regularly, trying to see which movies the black actors & actresses are working on. Don’t get me wrong I like all movies but soul food, color purple, the wood, love & basketball, the best man, waiting to exhale, deliver us from eva, beauty shop, just wright, jumping the broom, eve’s bayou, set it off, tp movies, etc.
I can go on & on & on, but I love black movies
With the exception of master p or the wayan brothers movies. I won’t tell them to stop making movies, but u couldnt pay me a million bucks to sit through that drinking juice while in the hood movie or any movie that i’m gonna hear a thick n.o. accent (no shade at toya)………baaaaaaby
Tyler has a beautiful heart and the lord will keep blessing him for it. Perhaps one day he’ll be an Oscar contender as he’s continuing to grow. He came from zero to his own studio.

I think some people on here need to get they mind right. Tyler Perry has given people the encouragement and the strength they need to keep moving through life. Its not like you’re going to EMPLOY THOSE WHO IN NEED. I SEE NOBODY BOTHERED TO TRIP OFF THE OTHER ACTORS/PRODUCERS/DIRECTORS WHO CAME OUT WITH/IN MORE THAN 1 GOOD MOVIE(S) IN THE PAST COUPLE OF YEARS.
