It’s ridiculous that some people choose to only blame Bobby and not Whitney too for what has happened with Bobbi Kris. It was not his fault exclusively. Let’s also keep in mind that this "child" is at a point where she can no longer blame others for her actions. I know many a child of substance abusers that never dare go near the stuff for fear of becoming addicted. Whitney’s family is completely wrong for keeping that girl away from her father. That is not for them to decide he is her father for pete’s sake. Bobby is trying to do his best and noone seems to think just for a second how hard this is on him as well. God forbid he chooses to deal with all of this by returning to substances because that is what those that abuse do to deal just like Bobbi Kris. Well, according to the Oprah interview Whitney did she did leave much to like when it came to the likes of Bobby Brown. And for the record I don’t know what kind of take over his son is planning but it sounded anything like that pig squalling I heard at Bobby’s old recording studio here in Atlanta (Bosstown) that takeover either won’t happen or it won’t last long.
Instead of putting that baby down, keep him and his family in prayer. I like many others saw the reality show that featured the Browns that included the step children. They all seemed like one big family, so they should have been considered when they were making out the guest list. There were other people they made room for that were not in the family, who could have stood up in the back or been left off altogether to make room for FAMILY. Just like Whitney demanded to be at her EX-in laws funeral, those kids should have gotten the same due. I am sick of people blaming Bobby for WH’s problem. He was not the big bad wolf with a bag full of drugs that made her take drugs. Truth is she probably showed him things he didn’t know since she was money bags and took drugs before she ever met him. I had to learn that everyone does not handle the lost of a love one the same. I thought I was alone and no one cared to see what I had to endure, watching my mother died slowly day by day. I hated the people who calmed they love her so much not to be there with me, I called them cowards! How many of yall heard the saying you have to take the sting out of your eyes before you can take it out of someone else eye? At that time I was supposed to be holding my mom hand, I was getting high because I was the coward. I didn’t want to see her gone so soon, but I should have been there by her side as I always have. Saying that to say that when you love someone so deep sometimes your emotions get the best of you and can cause you to not think things thru as you normally would, so don’t blame Bobby for his actions he is dealing with the lost of his true love the best he can at this time. I’m just as guilty as taking for granted that Whitney would be around awhile. Or switching the station when her song played. Because her songs were throw backs and not anything you wanted to hear to current date. Now we all can’t stop playing her music. Lets stop being hypocrites and understand we all did not have all this love for Whitney until she died. But this young man, the Brown family and the Houston family loved her BEST! They lost family. Divorced or not Whitney loved Bobby and Bobby loved Whitney. Her addiction was her own. And she had plenty of opportunity to clean up and didn’t. Where was her sister in law Pat, brother Gary, Cousin Dionne when Whitney was in the club having drinks? Most were right there sipping with her laughing it up. Where was the intervention then? They need to take ownership for the fact they turned a blind eye to Whitney’s addiction and were enablers. Bobby was addicted so if he couldn’t help himself then he couldn’t help her. When they divorced (which WHITNEY initiated and filed) it was the HOUSTON family’s responsibility to help her. Not his. He got clean and moved on. Washed out or not, Bobby is on the right track to a healthy, wholesome normal life. Let it rest! Leave him Alone! Let Whitney rest in peace! And let both families grieve for their family. In 2 more months we won’t be thinking twice about Whitney. But these people will still be mourning her loss. GET YOUR LIFE PEOPLE!! Seriously!
The funeral was by invitation only, Bobby Brown knew he had space for himself, his son, & his daughter, so why bring 6 morw uninvited people?
More, Bobby has always had a problem with following rules, thats why he was kicked out of New Edition. If it was about Bobbi Kristina he would’ve sat in the last pew as long as he was there. I feel for Bobby’s son although it IS a little embarrassing his use of profanity and poor spelling. Anger is not really a good excuse for the spelling. I don’t think that they were right to keep moving Bobby, but then again, he would seem to be more likely to cause some kind of scene rather than not..BUT, he rose above and did NOT cause a scene out of respect to Whitney. He had every right to say goodbye to his wife who he loved dearly. However, I think it was in poor taste for him to bring his new wife and in just as poor taste for her to even want to come. She should’ve stayed at home. Brown could’ve been treated with more kindness and still kept away from Kristina. The thing IS though, Kristina, though still a confused little girl, is GROWN and will see or contact her father on her OWN when she gets good and ready, and nobody, not even Cissy will be able to stop her. I feel for Kristina in the loss of her mother and best friend. I feel for Bobby and his son in the loss of his ex-wife and his step mother…Heck, I even felt for Ray J in the loss of his girlfriend!!! The bottom line is that EVERYBODY is hurting from Whitney’s passing. I only have 1 of her CD’s and that’s a Greatest Hits CD, yet I have shed many tears for her since we received that horrible information on the afternoon of Februrary 11. Her life impacted pretty much everyone’s in some way. She was truly an angel sent here to bless us with her voice and persona. Yes, she had some demons, but then, don’t we ALL have some kind of issues at some times in our lives? She is off the hook of being guilty of anything anymore. I truly believe that she is with God. May she rest in peace. May her legacy live on in the most positive way. May those that she left behind family and fans alike all receive the peace that surpasses all understanding.
