It’s official. Chris Brown is back.
Brown returned to the Grammy Awards for the first time in three years Sunday night, and in addition to a crowd pleasing performance, he scored a win for Best R&B album.
But what has overshadowed Brown’s comeback is the disturbing views that young women have about the incident that occurred 3 years ago after the Grammy’s where he beat up his ex-girlfriend Rihanna.

After noticing Brown’s ummm… “bulge”… several women posted messages on the social networking site, Twitter, indicating that they would let Chris Brown “beat them” any day… any how… any way… *dead serious*
Who’s really shocked? It’s views like these that caused those 90 teens to end up pregnant at that one Memphis, TN high school, and why 14 year old “Amber Coles” are created.
Sadly, it seems that society has desensitized our young women to the brutality of domestic violence. So much so, that many feel that Rihanna actually deserved the brutal beating she suffered at the hands of the talented man who won a Grammy last night.
Wow!
How soon we forget…
What do you think of the sudden surge of “Beat Me” tweets?

Stop Sweatin him
Everyone deserve a second chance.
You could have left the bulge out and you could have just not posted this. It’s like adding fuel to the fire. I’m disgusted. I believe in forgiveness and I believe he gmhas received therapy and probably still is. It’s not his fault he is a product of his environment and sure didn’t ask to be brought into this world by people who abuse their children. I hope he moves forward and can eventually help others who have endured the same circumstances. God Bless You Chris Brown. You are in my prayers. You and everyone involved in your life.
Break the cycle. It’s up to you.
I mean clearly they are not taking about that type of “beat me up”!!! Don’t act like you don’t know the slang!! Smh messy… And also I like how Clutch did this same article a day ago but I don’t see no credits to them….
I don’t give a damn if they meant it another way or sexually– “he can beat me” is just that. What woman or female would say such dumb shit out her mouth?! Slang my ass. That’s why we have the stigma that we do, as a community.
Blaim the parents of those girls not breezy they should have taught them better. He has moved forward he’s paid his debt for his crime
Agree w/Camille,,girls w/low self esteem, need parenting & mentors..
This is the sad thinking of our youth THEY out to be ashamed cause its nothing to joke about and Chris shall not take the blame. He did the crime he did his suffering time. I wish him the best who hasn’t erred, but deserved a second chance he got it hope he continues to grow.
No one deserves a real beat down like what Rihanna got… but every woman deserves a good “beating” if you know what I mean….and remember it’s who Rihanna seems to be the one finding love in a crazy places….then what?
How bout’ i dont give a shit! Second chance my ass! Yup i said it! I watched my mother be beat and abused! She gave tjat asshole a chance and e repeated the same behavior! Im not saying C.B shouldnt make any money… But f$&@ em!!!!
it’s just twitter talk. what woman wouldn’t like a good “beating” if you know what i mean….and some women may find it hard to say good bye to that kind of “beating”.
I think they meant beating them up in the bedroom not literally! Give the boy a break! He’s trying to do better!
@ Ebonye, while some of the tweets could be viewed as grey areas and assumptions can be made on what type of "beat up" was being referenced, two of the comments were very specific. One tweeter commented that they’d let him punch them in the eye and another said he could punch her in the face…there’s no grey area on just what these two meant.
I think it’s just silly girl talk not that these girls would really be okay with being beat up as in abused. Don’t act like you and your girls have never said anything crazy like that. Be for real. All in fun.
Atl please u would not want someine to hold something u did three years ago over ur head. U don’t know the truth ur job is speculating so cmon. Yea u been a littke mtoey lately highly disappoibted o yea and last few Whitney posts was lies smh… Hard
Dude is awesome!!!
where did MORALS go? i mean really…is this how much self respect women have for themselves
Blaim their parents…ignorant azz lil girls. I’m glad he didn’t respond.
thats what happens when black men start wearing skinnyleg jeans…
Some of ya’ll are so uptight….I’m quite sure if you hang around anyone that uses any type of slang you have the term "beat it up"…..Jeezt got a song call tear that p^%$y up! My goodness it’s not Chris fault that his incident from 3 YEARS AGO was used as subliminal tweets!!! I’m glad he is back on top, he was a young man for goodness sake they have moved why can’t the world move on….I bet some of ya’ll get beat up literally and are the main ones talking….Let C Brown be great!!!
I will never condone domestic violence, but come on he’s trying to be a different man. There are men out here who beat on and kill women on a daily basis and they have no plans on getting the help they need to stop destroying a woman’s life or get there own life together. It’s not his fault that these young girls decided to bring this stuff up. Plus a a public figure he wants the public to forgive him, but the important thing is that he forgives his self and the Lord will look beyond the things that the world will bring up for the rest of his life.
By Rihanna’s own admission, "whips and chains excite [her]," so why y’all keep trying to make this slut a victim escapes me. If yo mamma got beat all the time, guess what? She’s as dumb as Rihanna is, and got what she was looking for, so theres. Instead of dwelling on that ish you better be trying to break the damned cycle.
Breezy rocked, and Rihanna is still a trampy hot mess.
Nobody is to blame but the dumb ass parents of the young girls saying C.Brown can beat them. Whether it is meant sexually or any other way-many of those girls seemed way too young to mean it in any form. Stop acting like he told those girls what to say-he has nothing to do with their absent-mindedness on social networks. He is only human.
Dude is awesome!!!
