Ok… so lemme get this straight… we already have The Real Housewives of Atlanta, Mob Wives and Basketball/Football and Baseball Wives.
There’s been pilots filmed for “BMF” (Black Mafia Family) Wives” (which may have been shot down by Big Meech & his mom) and let’s not forget the ill fated “Mistresses of Atlanta”which is said to be coming soon…. but can you imagine a show fulla “Preacher’s Wives”??
Well clutch your bibles folks because it’s a done deal. There’s a new reality show in the works that features the ladies behind the men behind the pulpit.
And it’s based in Atlanta…. And it’s already been picked up by a network! 
*sigh*
Details…
According to Rodney Ho of The AJC, True Entertainment, credited for producing the hit series “The Real Housewives of Atlanta,” will handle the Atlanta-based series.
The press release notes that they are “outspoken ladies who work to ensure that their churches run as smooth as Southern-churned butter.”
Information is sketchy beyond that. TLC said production has not begun and a launch date has not been made though it will likely be in the fourth quarter.
I’m not clear if the cast has even been set yet. Spokeswoman Laurie Goldberg declined to comment.
TLC has ordered a new program that follows strong-willed Atlanta women with leadership roles in the city’s religious community. The women on the show manage day-to-day politics at churches, help troubled or needy congregants, and hire and fire staff. Some even step up to the pulpit to sermonize.
So there’s no word yet on which preacher’s wives in Atlanta will be participating in the program, but I’m PRAYING that it’s at least one of the ones in the pictures in this post.
That being said… all photos in this post were used for illustration purposes only.
But for real tho…. imagine if all that Eddie Long drama played out through the eyes of his wife Vanessa… or picture Mason Betha‘s wife as he’s fussing about a bill… what about if that Prophetess Juanita Bynum and Thomas Weeks domestic violence drama from a few year’s back were on your tv each week. You’d watch! Don’t act!

Southern churches can sometimes be some of the biggest orgies in the world. You can find mates swapping mates for other married members in the church. A lot of the men in the church have atleast 2-3 ex wives or baby mamas all in one church… especially if its their family church. At my church whis is in the deep country the pastor swapped his wife for the president of the deacon board’s wife… smh. But here’s the kicker there still attending that same church. Not to mention all these "fly by night preachers" who where so called "Called To Preach" can be found still making it rain in the strip clubs and calling up escorts… right here in Atl.
This is why God has called His people out of these churches

I can’t. This IS NOT something that I would care to watch. It will start out wholesome and unassuming and gradually escalate to a hella-fied, hot mess. I don’t want to see these First Ladies or any First Lady air their church’s dirty laundry on air. Besides, if the primary, secondary and overall purpose of the show is not about spreading the Glorious Gospel and bringing lost souls to Christ…then it’s vain glory and self promotion and too much of it goes on already.
Lord, your word said that in the last days there will be a Great Falling Away…we see why the number of those falling away or leaving Christ is great because they will be led by the very elect "fake church folk", posing as authentic Christians.

Speaking of church fakery,there was a segment on Meet the Press this morning that showed that Eddie Long event and a real rabbi stated that this was insulting to all Jews and this so called ritual has never been a practice in their faith,also that the man performing it was not a rabbi or affiliated with the Jewish faith.
Why are there so many negative comments about this idea for a show? What if the majority of the pastors wives ( if not all of them ) were on this show to expose their life & ministry? & without judging them before the show airs, why can’t any of you be happy that atleast this show has the potential to bring people closer to God and or a particular Church that is exposed through this show??? I like the idea and as long as the wives are real & true to themselves and their God, I see this show as a very positive thing, not a negative one.
