I don’t care what yall say about Ms. Marlo, the girl may be a little over confident, but she is the only one on here other than Phaedra and Kandi that really has something. Sheree is allegedley building a house that she can’t afford while her son sleeps on the floor, Cynthia is with an abusive closet gay husband that doesn’t give a damn about her and shows her while he drains her bank account, NeNe is just hopless. Marlo has her own shit, and from the looks of it she’s paid. She is single and free to do whatever the hell she wants to do!
I have all the tags from my handbags and save the receipts from having them cleaned. I do this in case I want to sell one, the buyer will know that it is authentic.
I am not a fan of Ms. Hampton. She appears to be a crass young lady. She is not classy, as some seem to think. She is not a socialite, as some seem to think. Class is not bought by the amount of material things you possess. Class is not taught. You either have it or you don’t, and Ms. Hampton does not have it. She will never be accepted in the circles that she so desperately wants to belong. She will continue to be an outsider. True, she might be invited to charity events at outside venues (for her donations), but to actually socialize inside one’s home, that invitation probably will never be extended. Who would invite her? To have her behave like she did on the trip? Or worse yet, to stalk the hostess outside of her home?
Also, I never understand why some women who wear weaves have to have them down their back. Her weave is a mess! Why her stylists do not suggest to her to go a hairdresser that specializes in weaves (one that looks realistic) is beyond me. It also would look much better at shoulder length if she prefers it longer.
Instead of informing anyone about etiquette, she needs to follow her own advice and go to a charm school. She might learn to not go anywhere uninvited, don’t blow up because you aren’t invited to a party (people can invite anyone they want); and most of all, the language that came out of her mouth would make a sailor blush!
She also cannot work a “real” job because of her criminal past. Most jobs (that pay any resemblance of money) require that you take a drug test and be fingerprinted. She might pass one out of the two requirements that is needed to secure “honest” employment, but a job would never be offered to her. She seems to know this and therefore participates in the oldest profession.
I would not want to be in her presence because something is not right. I have an alarm system in my home, but her security system, in my humble opinion, is a little overboard. What is she afraid of? Who is after her?
Going on a reality show was not a great idea for her. Some posters are right, we all have pasts. My past, and those I associate with, do not include jail time for disfiguring a young lady. We played pranks in college, but nothing that would hurt anyone. She seems to be proud of her past. I would be embarrassed. But of course, that would take some sort of class to be embarrassed!

Now, some empolyers are dirty and will not hire you based on that and will lie and say other things as to why they didn’t hire you. However, if she truly seek employment she should be able to find it, but the thing is, what is she good at? Does she have a degree etc.? Or, she should open her own business. I do think that because of her past she is afraid that it will catch up to her simply because of all the video cameras in her home AND the fact that she ask the conceirge about the housekeepers. I totally agree with Marlo’s rational for saving receipts/tags. I grew up in a household wherein I had no choice but to wear items from JCPenney, Ross, etc. Now that I’m capable of purchasing quality garments, I too save most of my receipts and tags. Spending a couple hundred on a pair of shoes or blouse is a big step up from what I’ve been able to purchase as a teenager. Therefore, I do make sure if anything were to happen (button pop, snag in the fabric, etc), I can get an exchange. So yes Marlo, you pay crazy money for your garments…keep them tags!

The return thing is so crazy. Buy what you can afford. Most designer basics are overpriced; other designers usually do it much cheaper. I can afford designer goods, but I can’t imagine the stress and strain of saving tags, wearing stuff and returning it.
The sales people that I work with are awesome people. When you do that fake return stuff, the person who sold the merchandise to you owes the store. Think abort that. You’re not jamming nm because they may be able to send it back to the designer, you’re jamming a working person. I wish all of these people would get a real income — they seem so desperate.

To the young lady who kept saying that it is illegal to discriminate against someone for having a felony record…you my dear are sadly mistaken. Every state has different employment laws. 90% are employment at will states, which means they can refuse to hire you or choose to fire you for ANY reason so long as it doesn’t violate EEOC laws. Persons with Felony/Criminal backgrounds are not protected in any state.
There are some companies who make it a matter of civic duty to hire people with criminal backgrounds. But this is NOT a protected RIGHT! The clause included on most employment forms states that disclosure of a felony background "will not necessarily preclude a person from employment." But it is up to the employer to make that decision.
As for the financial services industry, most financial specialists are required to be bonded. You can NOT obtain a bond of you have a felony background. And you will be unable to obtain one if you have a misdemeanor record for a financial crime, i.e. shoplifting.
Marlo would be unable to obtain employment in almost EVERY company in America because she was convicted of a VIOLENT felony AS WELL as a FINANCIAL MISDEMEANOR. ANY company that hires her would be held financially liable should she cause harm to either Co-workers or customers of said company. Or they may require her to carry additional liability insurance it some sort of bond. And this may be impossible to do.
