Clifford “T.I.” Harris and his lovely wife Tameka “Tiny” Harris made a guest appearance during The Tom Joyner Morning Show’s Sky Show Friday morning (January 20, 2012).

Joyner and his entire morning show team hit Atlanta’s Rialto Center for the Arts stage dressed as Tuskegee Airman in honor of the release of George Lucas’ new film ?Red Tails.?

Fans were treated to performances by Ashanti, Estelle and SWV and Attorney Phaedra Parks of The Real Housewives of Atlanta even came through to show support for the film.

Joyner also brought out a former Tuskegee Airman to share his experiences with the crowd.

According to Rodney Ho of the AJC, Elijah Kelly, an actor in the film who is from LaGrange, told Joyner it was a treat to be able to meet some of the remaining Tuskegee Airman on the set.

?To see them, to be able to touch history and look history in the eye,? Kelly said, ?it was amazing.?

Wal-Mart gave out free movie passes for the ?Red Tails? film for an 11 a.m. screening at Atlantic Station and also presented the winners of Joyner’s Old School Dance contest with gift cards.

The event was topped off with a $10,000 donation to the “Tom Joyner Foundation” Veterans Program. A check was presented to Joyner by Dr. John Garland, President of Central State University.

Looked like an awesome time! “RED TAILS” – the story of the Tuskegee Airmen, an all-black World War II fighter pilot squad, is in theatres now…
