Weight Watchers spokesperson Jennifer Hudson was spotted on the streets on NYC this morning (January 11, 2012).
Remember those reports that Hudson turned down the role of Precious because she didn’t want to gain back the weight that she’d lost at that time?

J-Hud says her weight was NOT a factor when she turned down the role of “Precious” but there was ANOTHER factor that rubbed her the wrong way.
Jenn explains to TMZ:
“I did NOT turn down the role because of the weight thing … I turned it down because I felt it was just too graphic for me at that time.”
Hudson’s explanation contradicts what she told “DatelineNBC” earlier this week, when she said she turned it down because she “would have had to be the big girl again.”

When Lester Holt asked if her decision to turn down “Precious” was motivated by fear of being typecast as a heavy actress … Hudson said, “I don’t like the idea of being boxed into anything.”

Jen HUD LIED about not taking the role because she didn’t want to be big. Pay me I will be wobbling all across the screen. Most black actresses in their right mind don’t Turn down offers.
JHud got what she wanted to be skinny and getting Kibbles N Bits for WW spokesperson, an EBT card for the book.
That role as Precious could have led to 2 Oscars, A Stud acting roles instead of spokesperson for a product no one buys.

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing. Before she responds she needs to remember what she already said in other interviews. Either answer is fine but just stick to one answer. I get not wanting to always play the big girl and I also get that it was a deep role so she may not have done it justice. Gabbie (probably did not spell it correctly) did a great job and I do not think Jennifer would have done as well.

Jennifer Hudson really needs to stop talking, everytime she opens her mouth she makes me not like her anymore. She clearly said she didnt take the Precious role because she felt as though she had done that already with Effie. Now she’s trying to clean it up and say it’s because it was too graphic.
