NFL baller Charles Grant, the rumored ex-boo of NeNe Leakes who appeared on last week’s Real Housewives of Atlanta posed for the above mugshot after being arrested on a bad check charge.
Looks like Charles and Marlo Hampton have a lot in common afterall… especially since this isn’t his first time in jail.
But Charles will have to get arrested about 15/20 more times before he catches up to Marlo’s extensive mugshot gallery!
Details about Charles’ most arrest PLUS Marlo feels this new press is the prefect time to address their relationship…
Apparently the 33-year-old former N.O. Saints and Chicago Bears player who played along with Marlo Hampton in her unsuccessful quest to become an official housewife, was arrested last week in Colquitt, GA on felony charges of writing bad checks.
“Felony” meaning the check was of a substantial amount (over $500).
Marlo, ever the opportunist, took it upon herself to issue a statement regarding her relationship with Charles Grant, explaining to TheYBF:
I truly regret that this has happened to him.
While my relationship with Charles ended earlier this year, I hope he will put these challenging circumstances behind him and move forward.
As you know, Bravo decided to ditch Marlo has an “official” housewife after execs found out about her violent past.

Similar to his play-play fiance, Charles also has had multiple run-ins with the law.
The former NFL defensive end was charged with involuntary manslaughter back in 2008, following a fight outside a south Georgia nightclub that resulted in the deaths of a pregnant woman (23-year-old Korynda Reed) and her unborn child after the woman was struck with a stray bullet.
Grant, who was stabbed in the incident, has always maintained that he had nothing to go with the fight. In 2010, all criminal charges were dropped after Grant agreed to plead no contest to a lesser charge of affray (public fighting) and paid $20,000 in restitution to the police department to cover the costs of the investigation.
While birds of a feather often flock together I heard Marlo and Charles were NEVER a couple in the first place…. ask Charles… he’ll tell you.

When I first saw him on the show I didn’t care for him at all. He seems to have a horrible attitude, and he just gives off a bad vibe. Then he had the nerve to talk crap about NeNe on the show then looked as if he had an attitude that she didn’t even acknowledge him.

It was obvious to even the blind that Marlo and Charles were a fake couple.
1. He’s a retired football player with a short career which means he has no money.
2. Marlow admitted she earns a living by being with wealthy men and if Charles isn’t wealthy then he has nothing for her.
3. The only key to the show that either of them had was through Nene and as usual she is the center of the show.
4. Charles looks like he dates ugly cheap white women.
5. Marlow looks and sounds like a man.
Total fakery! Bravo needs to do better.
