On last night’s episode of the popular reality show, the happy couple had a mini-argument on-air about Apollo’s most recent run-in with the law.
Back in April 2011, Apollo faced a ton of blog heat when he was pulled over by Federal Marshals on a busy Atlanta highway.
Blogger extraordinaire SandraRose was the first to post about the situation, when one of her loyal readers spotted Apollo on the side of the road ‘with a pistol to his head’ (in my Phaedra Parks voice) and spilled the tea via email.
I noticed two Dekalb police cars had pull over a red BMW 740i and a guy in handcuffs on the ground arguing with the cops. When I passed by, I noticed it was Apollo, Phaidra’s husband from Real Housewifes of Atlanta READ MORE
I don’t even recall how I got in the middle of it, because as you know, I’m NOT one to gossip [insert-side eye] but I do remember placing a call to Phaedra… and another one to Sandra… and another to Phaedra.
Of course the end result was that Apollo was simply detained and questioned… NOT arrested, but in “Haterville” ATL that apparently equates to the same thing.
Oh… and then somehow TMZ got pics of the incident and the rest is history.
So the episode began with Phaedra protecting her husband and ended with Apollo protected her from Peter. Good stuff!

I think it was beautiful! The husband was correct demanding respect from that broken slob coming in disrespecting his wife! As for Phaedra..you gotta Luv her! They are great for each other, However, Phaedra was wrong bringing up the news article at that time. That was a happy occasion for another couple.

Phaedra and Apollo appear to have a pretty solid relationship. It is only right for her husband to straighten Peters ole a** out. Now as far as what other people say or think about Apollo’s past, that’s exactly what it is, His Past and Phaedra will have to learn that.
I was hoping Apollo would have beat the sh!t out of Peter! He is a fickin’ trip! Liked him at first, but he seems to be hatin’ on everybody! Apollo, however, did the right thing and moved on! Watch out Uncle Ben (Peter)…..next time you might just get your chocolate-covered a$$ whupped!!!!!

Apollo did not give a dang about Phaedra he was just mad because he got pulled over by those cops and people won’t let go of his past. He PUSHED Phaedra (his wife and mother of his child) away and told her to get off him. THAT was disrespectful. He never said, not even once, that Peter was disrespecting his wife. Apollo is nothing but a thug and an ex-con and that’s all he will ever be. Phaedra started the mess by bringing up the article. I think she did it because she didn’t want Kim and Kroy to have a nice baby shower. All she could say was that she felt Kim was copying her.
Peter is up front and honest and he doesn’t care what anyone thinks. My only issue with him is that he doesn’t take Leon’s advice on how to deal with Cynthia’s family. Everything else is on point with regard to his bluntness. He isn’t too old to fight nor tell the truth on all those fake ass Atlantans trying to act like they have class and money when they are all broke and trifling.
Peter is too old and too ugly to be with pretty Cynthia she needs to dump this loser
I love the episode. That’s what a real woman & man do for one another in a relationship. When they married this is what they signed up for ‘for better or worse’ & Phaedra knew what she was signing up for marrying an ex-con, but nontheless they are a beautiful couple. Who would want a weak man anyway…I wish Apollo would have beat Peter down, why is Chynthia with his lame self…seems like he’s a leech…I was laughing when Leon was questioning him about their marriage…

The real issue we should have been addressing is the fact that they act a fool at someones baby shower regardless if it was KIM’s baby shower or not it’s a way that you’ve suppose to conduct yourselves in public, especially since your on Tv and suppose to be the creme de la creme of blacks.

I think they are all fake, Peter is upset because he is broke and everyone knows it. Its one thing to have a past its another thing to be stealing cars, running a chop shop, and stealing people’s identies. Apollo did that shit so well that it got him 6 years whereas it would have gotten a lesser thief maybe 2 years. But whatever, what’s done is done. You have to respect a man who steps in when needed to defend his wife’s honor and vice versa. I really love them as a couple and am glad they’re showing that their love may not be everybody’s idea of a "perfect couple" but obviously it’s perfect for them.
