Kim and her husband, Kris Humphris were spotted together last night (above) as they supported her brother Rob’s Dancing With The Stars stint.
The pair JUST got married a few months ago and are rumored to be on the outs, which makes this news even more hilarious!
Kim has scored a co-starring role in “The Marriage Counselor,” the Lionsgate film Tyler Perry will direct next, based on his 2008 stage play of the same name.
Shooting starts October 26 in Atlanta, so all you ATL Kim K fans may get a chance to see her flossing around town with her BFF Ciara.
The film tells the story of Judith, an Ivy League-educated relationship expert who makes her living dispensing marital advice, but is so bored with her own marriage that she breaks her professional code and cheats with a smooth talking client only to realize she has made a huge mistake.
Jurnee Smollett plays the marriage counselor and Kardashian will play Ava, a co-worker who gives Judith a big city makeover and new confidence as she struggles with her personal issues. (source)
Word is, Kim has had a few other acting roles in the past. Besides her tv show, Kardashian previously played roles in the films Deep in the Valley and Disaster Movie.

Whatever the case, Kardashian’s name alone will be a huge draw for TP, so in that regard it’s MARKETING genius!

I agree cassandra. I’m pretty pissed about his decision to put another non-actor (side-eye/Janet Jackson/why did i get married) in another one of his films. I will not be spending the full price of admission to see this movie. I will probably borrow a boot-leg from a co-worker. Too many good folks out there on their grind looking for parts and tyler pics a faux-reality star? boo/hiss.
Jay1, you spoke the truth. For someone that’s just spoke of small beginning, he isn’t practicing what he preach. Their are a lot of not yet discovered talented actors that he could have picked for this part, however he chose someone with little and no acting ability based solely on who they are instead of what they can do.

I’m interested to see how this works. KK was in an episode of CIS:NY. I’m not gonna comment on that except to say I want to see how she has improved. Admittedly, TP movies are not my fave but he has taken many non actors and made it work.

First off Kathy Bates is an award winning actress that guess what can act. I have no clue regarding Spike Lee’s choices because I’ve never watched one of his movies.

If you really read what the majority of people are saying it is the impression is (1) There are other qualified actresses (non-Black) that could/would have wanted a role like that, (2) Her background may not reflect the type of message that typically comes from TP movies and (3) TP is chasing the money and KK is continuing to stay in the spotlight, for many that is full overexposure and for the most part, we are over it!
No where did I read anyone say "I hate her because she is White!" Not true!! I loved all of the non-Black actresses/actors TP has had in each of his movies – this is the only one I give a side-eye too. This makes me nervous, really NERVOUS…why? Because as a Black woman my options are very limited, very LIMITED…So, I would like to see a Black man give a sister some work because a White man will only give work to Black folks if he absolutely HAS to and then with hostility and drama. I am really nervous about what Tyler has done because it sets the standard that for many folks who look like him – there is no hope…Black folks can be talented, available, professional, tenured yet they are not as marketable as other folk. Which is a lie. Folks like Tyler Perry are the ones who dictate who is marketable or not. They cast whom THEY want and we the public have to accept it, pretty much. It makes me nervous, Tyler is proving that once you make money and a name that’s all you care about. All your other virtues/values go out the window. Once you reach a certain plateau you "change" and become well, like everyone else who is already there and perpetuate the status quo. It just makes me uneasy. Does the "altitude" really have that much power? Or does making a certain amount of money make you lose your mind? What is it – really – what is it? Black folks support, spend their money, spend their time and again and again they are betrayed by the very ones they are supporting…I am uneasy about it…Will the Kardashians cast more Black folks on their shows in front of the camera, in prominent roles?
