The unfortunate incident added fuel to rumors that Beyonce has been wearing a prosthetic baby bump to make her look further along in her pregnancy that she actually is, a rumor denies, even after the seemingly indisputable video evidence.

According to Starcasm, a spokesman for the mommy to-be talked with ABC News yesterday and called the rumors “stupid, ridiculous and false.”

Why on earth would Beyonce rock a fake baby bump you ask? Well many suspect that Bey doesn’t want to ruin her figure carrying her own child, so she and husband Jay-Z have hired a surrogate to do it for her.
But wait… while the surrogate rumor may be a bit overboard, some have speculated that Bey & Jay’s love of attention and money is the root of it all. Debating that perhaps Bey wants to be seen as bigger than she actually is so that she can make money from her pregnancy.
Welp… that may not be too far fetched. In a recent interview in Harper’s Bazaar Beyonce reveals her plans to launch a maternity clothing line….
She is reveling in the chance to seek out pieces to complement her new figure and is even at work on a maternity collection to add to the House of Deréon line she produces with her mother, Tina Knowles. “All I see now are clothes that are flattering on a pregnant woman,” she says. “It’s been so exciting for me! I love figuring out designs that still make me feel edgy and sexy while pregnant. Flowy fabrics are always flattering,” she says, “but I still rock my stilettos.
“I’ve had so much fun with fashion over the months,” she adds. “I have been pregnant through every event I’ve done, from the Billboard Awards to Glastonbury.”

In the issue, Beyonce also talks about her decision to reveal her pregnancy on the 2011 MTV Video Music Awards “Black carpet,” where she wore an orange Lanvin caftan and posed for photos caressing her noticeable new belly.
“I put a lot of thought into how I wanted to unveil it. It was important to me that I was able to do it myself,” Beyoncé explains. … “I was extremely nervous. It was the toughest red carpet I ever did.
“I didn’t want a crazy picture or gossip story to break the news,” she continues, “so I decided to say nothing and proudly show my baby bump. I felt it was more powerful to see the love and enthusiasm as opposed to saying anything.”

It wasn’t long after she revealed her pregnancy that the fake baby bump rumors started. Even Beyonce’s performance of LOVE ON TOP during the VMA’s was scrutinized as a publicity stunt, being that she dropped the mic at the end and rubbed her belly to the delight of the crowd.
Rumor has it that Bey wore a prosthetic baby bump for her historic announcement even though she was really pregnant because she was actually only a little more than eight weeks pregnant at the time and not really showing.
I dunno all the answers and I’m starting not to care…. BUT from the look on Beyonce’s face when she sat down in that interview, she did look like she’d been busted.

I so sorry, but I don’t think that Beyonce is pregnant at all. When I was pregnant last year I didn’t won’t anyone to know I did not tell anyone, but if someone was to ask I would sad yes. At some point you will start to show. So with all that said in due time we will see. Beyonce doen’t own me anything and I do not like nor hate her, but she was the one that came out to the world, She should have kept a close mouth just like she did with her and Jay Z relaionship.
I think Beyonce is pregnant…however, I do think she is adding padding to look more pregnant than she is. It think its more of a visual effect to go with ther branding, I knew she was going turn this pregancy into a money maker.

Pamela Curtis The question was (again) because this time she addressed it. Yesterday she had not.
I’ve been pregnant and given birth and a few things just dont make sense.
1. I didnt begin to show until I was like 4 or 5 months pregnant. And when I began to show my bump stayed the same size. I didnt look 8 months one day and the next I looked 5.
2. No matter which way I bent or turned my belly didnt go away or sink into itself. Sure it would be the dress that drapped forward however the "deflation" of her outfit not so much. Especially in the first frame her dress is fitted around her belly.
My thing is if you have a surrogate kudos to you who cares? People do it everyday. I think you lose the bond that you would with carrying the child yourself but her and her husband are freaking millionaires who cares?!
But as someone stated earlier…you put it out there to the public so people are going to have their opinions. And its not as if she’s not watched like a hawk anyway…she’s BEYONCE! One of the few things you cant hide in life is being pregnant. Eventually its going it will come out.

I know some woman that have lied to gain attention from there husband or other people to feel important. I am kind of torn between if she is telling the truth. If so her hubby is involved with the so called “baby bump” as well because I am sure he sees his wife nude. As long as you work out and take care of your body, the baby weight can be removed. Look at J.Lo, she had twins and she looks awesome.There is a mental disorder(Pseudocyesis) that some woman have that is not discussed often. I read in papers all the time that woman kill other woman and try to steal there fetus or baby as there own because they lied about being pregnant. I hop she is just trying to deter her fans and the media from her delivery date to avoid future issues.
Considering she’s due in February I don’t understand why people are still questioning her status.
I have seen plenty of mothers not ruin their body while pregnant, she’s thick enough of that she honestly, probably would;nt have a problem staying away from strech marks and such. I think all this negativity towards Beyonce’s pregnancy is people having the seething desire to see the girl who seems to have it all fail at something. People seem to have an invested interest in this which us strange. I also think it’s Beyonce’s fault too , she is too visible, she needs to do like other pregnant women do and sit down and stay out of the public eye have her baby then if she wants to go back to work after her child is born do it but not being so public while pregnant.

I would be disappointed to find out that Beyonce is being less than honest about her pregnancy in any way. I have this image of her not only being an awesome performer,but a good person. It would better for her to come clean now than to keep the lie going. If I were to find out something different to the contrary it would really throw me for a loop. You hear about artist behaving less than favorable all the time, but I never thought that of her. If I was to find out she faked her pregnancy, it would really shatter my faith in her and artist in general. However,it may help me to understand that artist are not role models,there only human just like us. Either way, we will see,because what is done in the dark shall eventually come to light.
