Way back in the day when Young Jeezy was hot and Rick Ross was not, the two co-existed in the rap world in harmony and even appeared on a song or two or three.
As Rozay’s flame began to burn bright and Jeezy’s flickered into a barely there spark, the “trap boy” in Jeezy began to feel “some kinda way” about the former corrections officer’s use of “BMF” in a song title (Blowing Money Fast).
It’s no secret around these here parts that Young Jeezy was somewhat kinda affiliated with the notorious drug gang “BMF” (Black Mafia Family), hell his name was brought up several times during their drug trial.
Long story short, Jeezy felt that Rick’s use of the acronym was somehow disrespectful being as though Ross had never actually been a part of their crew. So what did Jay “Jeezy” Jenkins do about it? He makes a diss track over the same bumpin beat called “Death Before Dishonor”.
“How you blowing money fast? You don’t know the crew. Oh you part of the fam? Shit i never knew!”
Being that Jeezy was implicated in the drug trial of the BMF drug gang, his jumping on a song rapping about it wasn’t a very smart move.
As you know, word on the curb is that Jeezy’s mixtape message to Rozay may be one of the main reasons Def Jam seems to be so iffy on his TM103 project.
But I digress…
Now that I’ve brought you somewhat up to speed on their beefy background, Ross has stirred the pot once by bringing it all up again and questions Jeezy’s manhood during a recent interview.
And by “questions,” I mean Rick dayum near put Jeezy in a dress!
Ross appeared on DJ Flex’s radio show where he addressed his new Wing Stop venture in addition to his ongoing beef with Jeezy.
On what started it all, Ross explains:
Ross: “From my point of view, [the tension with Jeezy stemmed from] a freestyle done on the BMF track where some things were said, and I attempted to address it like a real G would…(Flex: you reached out?) of course, but I never got a direct answer. So there were some things being said on record, which perpetuated that there may be pressure, that there may be beef. I always did business with homie, so if it was, it would have felt sideways….”
Rick Ross: “When you talk about this street life and being one hundred and being solid, it’s certain things that you bring to a person…and that never happened. But…everyone who want to talk about being gangster, we were just at the BET awards and I sat in the front row. He performed. If there’s any pressure…handle it right then. That’s the person that I am. So if we not gonna handle it right then, if you see me and you keep walking…
Flex: then there shouldn’t be any problem. Not at all…
Flex: “Before your biggest albums came, Jeezy represented that street, party element….and since then, you’ve captured some of that….”
Rick Ross: “Some of that? Or all of that?”
Flex: “You have captured all of it. And that is pressure… that second and third album, the hood really gravitated to you. That might be where you and Jeezy are having a problem…”
Ross: “If that’s the case, we label those feminine ways… where I come from, every man gotta hold his own. I can be ’round Puff Daddy, who’s worth close to a billion dollars, and not feel in no way inferior…if anything, that’s gonna inspire me. When I ask Birdman, ‘Was you inspired by Master P?’ He never told me nothing negative or spiteful….”
Flex: “How does that work with you and Jeezy being on the same label? That has to be hard….”
Ross: “Not at all, not to me. Def Jam, they know that’s Rozay, baby…..and on December 13th, we gonna cash another big check. That’s how we do it. We ain’t pushing that back. That’s in cement. We don’t push nothing back around here. We don’t push nothing back but the top on that Rolls.”
[Sidebar: Ooooh! That sounds like yet another dig at Jeezy and his perpetually pushed back TM103 project. Ouch!]
Ross: “[Jeezy] and Gucci Mane had a problem and one of his homies lost his life behind that. And they squashed that. We don’t play like that…. if you feel a certain way, you gotta stand by it. This ain’t the kind of game where you just utter what you want, tweet what you want, blog what you want, and then when you run into somebody, it’s love…. it don’t really work like that.” (source)
Who would win in a rap battle between Jeezy and Rick Ross?
(Ricky’s titty ballz have already been disqualified as an answer!)

I think Rick False tends to want to back up his so called "gangsta’" by talking greasy every chance he gets. Fake is having a previous occupation and then lying about it; only to have it proven that you did have said occupation. We have not forgotten this, Mr. False. You solidified that you are NOT who you claim to be with the aforementioned. You absolutely don’t know the real Noriega.
Most of these rap clowns kill me with their tough talk. Real hard dudes don’t have to say it. You can’t be a famous rapper and a killer too. Shut up! If you are bragging about it doing illegal stuff, than it is probably not the case; because then you would be telling the FEDS to come and get you.
As for Geezy and Rick False’s rap skills, even though I truly believe Rick False is fake, I’m fair. He is a better rapper than Geezy. Rap is your occupation, clown. Just do that and shut up.
Jeezy all day flat out
