A very glowing and very pregnant Nia Long covers the November 2011 issue of Ebony Magazine.
Inside the issue, Nia bares it all, literally! Not only does the 40+ year old actress bare her baby belly, she gives fans a revealing look inside her pregnancy diary.
Nia, who recently revealed that she’s having a baby boy, is reportedly in the last trimester of her pregnancy and should be dropping that bambino pretty soon.
She opens up for the first time about her childhood and her “surprise” pregnancy in the duel cover feature.

She also opens up to EBONY for the first time ever about her humble roots, reconnecting with family in the West Indies, raising her son, finding her life mate–and about the pregnancy that wasn’t suppose to happen.
Nia, spoke about being over 40 and pregnant, stating:
The medical profession tries to tell every woman, ‘Have your babies before 40…’ Society tells us ‘Get married before 30…’
I think if we just take our time as women, and do what comes natural to us and for us, we would make fewer mistakes.

She didn’t tell me we were having a child together! What is really going on???
She looks beautiful and kudos to her for speaking the truth and having no fear. The medical profession does try to scare women into thinking they shouldn’t breed past 40 even though their bodies are capable. The medical professions doesn’t tell men this. Society does tell women to marry before 30 even though the divorce rate is high and they may not pick the right man. Society doesn’t tell men this.
I am happy for her and her partner and I’m sure this blessing will only bring them closer together.

Does anyone know why ‘women as a whole’ feel it necessary to prove how beautiful they are by posing ‘nude’, when there is ‘clothing’ (and how you wear it) that can (and does) make you look just as beautiful "clothed"??
Are we teaching our daughters, nieces, etc. that you can feel beautiful and lovely by being nude, rather than it’s just fine to leave your clothes on and feel the same way? No wonder our children (especially our little girls) grow up so mixed up instead.
