Jennifer Hudson was a vision in red as she accepted her 2011 “Women Doing Good” award from Self Magazine in New York City, September 13, 2011.
Self Magazine’s Women Doing Good Awards acknowledges women who “saw a need, hatched a plan, then changed the world for the better” and I’m assuming Jennifer’s 88lb weight loss fit the bill.

Jennifer also brought her adorable son David Otunga, Jr. with her to the festivities and he’s looking more and more like his daddy everyday!
In case you were wondering when and/or IF Jennifer Hudson and her baby daddy will ever tie the knot, I have the answer + more photos below:
Jennifer revealed to InTouch Weekly, that she’s always had a date in mind:
“I’ve always had a [wedding] date! I just haven’t told anybody! So it’s set!”
Jen already has a dress but she’s still trying to decide how big she wants her wedding to be.
“See, that’s what I’m trying to decide!” Jennifer admitted with a laugh, confessing that she still going back and forth on the size of her ceremony.
“One minute I want the biggest wedding ever, and the next second I’m like, I’m not sure if I want big or small, or if it’s just family.”
The bride-to-be admits though, she’s never been in too much of a rush to get married.
I’ve been through a lot in my life and I’m just trying to take it one step at a time.
I’m one of those girls, like, ‘Okay, let me get used to this right here! Give me a second!’
I hear ya Jen! Take your time and ‘do you’!
I personally feel that marriage is becoming a dying institution these days, but I hope that we all fall back on traditional values one day. It’s crazy how the gayz are all fighting for the right to marry, while those of us who always could… don’t. *sigh*
It used to be ‘first comes love, them comes marriage’ Now it’s more like, ‘first comes baby number 1, then baby number 2, then maybe we’ll get hitched one day’.
Maybe Bob Whitfield was right when he wrote “L.O.V.E. is a Non-MuthaF*ckin Factor”….
Why do you think that Marriage is becoming a “last resort” in relationships and not the “first thought”?

The society we live in is glorifying sex and lust, over relationships and love. Its become normal and accepted to live together, procreate together, have relations together without a ring or promise, lbvs.

After we say i do, most women change. You ladies bodies go through changes. You get pregnant…. we don’t get any sex, you work all day (you stressed)… we don’t get any sex, we stay out too late with the fellas… we don’t get any sex, the money gets tight….we don’t get any sex…
2) When we have kids with you, all the woman has to do is say “you know what, i’m just not happy anymore” i want a divorce and then the man has to pay 20% of his gross salary. And the woman didn’t work, the man has to pay alimony (vagina-mony)!! SO…. what’s in marriage for us men?????
Men are tired of getting screwed and F’d over by women and the shit-stem!!! That’s the real reason people aren’t marrying like they used to!!!! And women wearing these fake ass wigs and weaves!!! when y’all get comfortable around a man and take all that stuff off… we realize we have to put you in the “booty call” box!!!! No long term relationship with that !!
I think she has the most ugliest legs, I wish she would stop wearing things to show them off. I thought she was working out, if she was her legs would definitely look better than they do.
Women seem to be giving in to that myth more than ever these days that having a baby will keep him around, at least in some aspect, so marriage isn’t necessary to have him. Some women seem to be lowering their expectations in order for men to meet them. I won’t mention a celebrity example; I’ve gotten on her case enough.
Jen’s face is a bid no no. Ever since she lost weight she has had those lines around her mouth which make her look like she is 50 yro and makes her mouth look huge. Also, she needs to do something about her feet. She has the body of a skinny girl but she still has fat girl feet.
