Ciara was spotted chilling at the 2011 U.S. Open in NYC yesterday (September 8, 2011).
Its often been said that single women who desire to get hitched should ditch their single friends and hang out with more married women. [Sidebar: I think even recall Tyrese giving LaLa that bit of advice on her show.]
Well… Ciara seems to have taken heed to that old wive’s tale as she was spotted taking in a game with two friends who have each jumped the broom.
Ciara was spotted out and about with Lala Vasquez (who married Carmelo Anthony last Summer) and Kim Kardashian, who recently shed her jump off status by tying the knot in a lavish ceremony a few weeks ago.

It’s been a Summer full of weddings, Ciara even donned her blue bridesmaid gear and shimmied down the aisle for Monica & Shannon Brown’s 2nd wedding.
Hold up. Hold up. Hold up. Wait! Come to think of it, CiCi’s just about the only one left who hasn’t snagged her a meal ticket…. not that she needs one. Or does she?
I’m sure LaLa and Kim K have been giving their lil sis tons of advice, and since married people often ditch their single friends, I have to admire them for keeping ‘Single CiCi’ in the circle.

I don’t think it was so much as just kicking the single friends to the curb, but once you married and start having kids you are not able to hang like you used to. At least that was the case for me because I had other responsibilities. Besides, it’s not much fun dragging a three year old with you to go shopping with your single friends. I’d feel more comfortable with someone else with children. I doubt La La and Kim have the same issue because they probably would have nanny’s and people to do help out and allow them that time alone with their gurls..
I still hang out with my single friends as well, i’m versatile i do the couple things with couples, when i want a all girls day i’ll grab a single friend and do lunch. I just think as long as you and people still have common interest then why not, but people do grow apart if your interest have completely changed
