Bishop Eddie Long is facing another firestorm this week after two of his FIVE (yes 5… we can’t forget about Centino Kemp) hit the media this week.
Jamal Parris, seemingly the most affected of them all, first hit the local news with the epiphany that the abuse he suffered from Long was a major cause of his legal issues.

Then Spencer LaGrande joined Parrish for a duel interview, where they spoke about needing some sort of public acknowledgment from the Bishop of his wrongdoings, it was even revealed that they may be planning to pen a tell-all.

Word on the curb is that Kelly Rowland’s solo hit “Motivation” just went PLATINUM… and if it’s a lie, she told it!
Kelly, photographed above last week (August 17, 2011) as she attended her first day as an X Factor judge London, England, hit up twitter a few hours ago to share to great news with her fans….

Proof that a lil nip slip can definitely go a long way! 😆
[Sidebar: Maybe she can “MOTIVATE” some of these other female soloists to step up their game…]
I haven’t heard Kelly Rowland’s entire CD yet. What other songs (besides ‘Motivation’) do you like??

Quite a few of our favorite celebs have jumped the broom these past few months: Monica & Shannon Brown, Keyshia Cole & Daniel “Booby” Gibson, Toya Carter & MempHitz… and even Kim Kardashian hung up her “jumpoff hat” and snagged her a hubby this weekend.
Next to the Royal Wedding, Kim’s wedding photos were the most coveted of any magazine or paparazzi. But People magazine won the honor and Kim scored $1.5 million from the mag for the exclusive pics).
Everyone has been raving about Kim K’s Vera Wang dress…
Bob Whitfield (Sheree Whitfield’s ex) once wrote a great essay on how “Love is a Non-MuthaF*ckin’ Factor” when it comes to keeping a relationship intact (click HERE if you missed that), but perhaps the first step is avoiding ridicule from your family and friends at the wedding!
I say all that to say, while Kim’s dress was definitely a “DO”, we’ve seen a helluva lot of DON’T’s circulating around the net.

Your favorite May/December couple Vivica A Fox and her fiance’ Omar “Slimm” White were spotted partying in NYC for publicist BJ Coleman’s Birthday Party.
Viv strategically displayed her huge rock front and center as she posed between her handsome boy toy and the popular PR dude, who reportedly turned 31 (again) this year.
I’m sure there’s no law against “repeating” birthdays, Vivica does it all the time.

Beyonce’s single, “1+1,” an ode to love and relathionships has been covered by everyone from Q (of 112) to SoSo Def’s Dondria, even celebrity photographer Joi Pearson strained her vocal chords attempting the song, but nobody can do it like the Kaaaag!
So imagine everyone’s surprise when Last night, the official video last night for “1+1” premiered on E! News to a mostly disappointed fanbase.
King B apparently saved a ton of dough after she got high and decided to play in photobooth on her macbook, because the imagery in the video is nothing but a slew of those goofy lil kaleidoscope photos that bring us all so much joy when we’re home alone bored (or maybe just me?)
Whatever the case, we all expected so much more from the woman Jay-Z calls the 2nd coming of Michael Jackson.

Aaliyah Dana Haughton died 10 years ago today in a fiery plane crash on August 25, 2001 in the Bahamas after filming the music video for her single “Rock the Boat” and today many have honor her memory.
As I was perusing videos of the fallen star, I came across several interviews that revealed how humble and beautiful Aaliyah was even though her star was steadily rising.
A few I found interesting were Beyonce’s interview of Aaliyah on the red carpet of the 2001 MTV Video awards (where Aaliyah and Diddy also presented an award), Aaliyah’s final BET 106&Park appearance (where she premiered her “We Need A Resolution” video), and Aaliyah’s appearance on The Late Show.
