Reality shows and relationships are like oil and water. They don’t mix! First DeShawn & Eric Snow called it quits, then Kandi & AJ (R.I.P.) called off their engagement, and recently Lisa Wu confirmed her separation from Ed Hartwell.
Real “Housewife” of Atlanta NeNe Leakes is also said to be in the midst of her own divorce drama with husband Gregg [insert side-eye here], and while I personally feel there’s a “Real Housewives of Atlanta” relationship curse, NeNe completely absolves Bravo of any responsibility in she and Gregg’s marital woes.
In a recent S2S article on how reality tv affects relationships, NeNe reveals:
Me and Gregg had issues before we even signed on to do the ‘Housewives’ show. I think the show just helped elevate them a little bit.
I couldn’t even put it on the show. I wouldn’t allow a show to break me up.
But the show doesn’t help.
Mmmm hmmm. I’m sure the show doesn’t help AT ALL! Especially when you’re facing marital problems & divorce on the show not in “real life”…

Well Im sure it did not help that she is a bit of an alchoholic unstable drama queen?

I think Nene curse herself although I found her endlessly entertaining. She’s a friend in a my head but don’t think I would wanna go anywhere with her. she would show out too bad lol

yeah,reality shows fuck up relationships,why?because you have a camera in your face 24/7 and all couples fight but its not public. When the fights become public then you have stans tryin to tell both sides how to handle it and with that you have trouble…..his friends ,fam and her friends ,fam constantly in both ears till the relationship is messed up. These women need to tell the cameras no and slam their doors …my grandmother said it best…."never put your business in the street"
