In case you’ve been wondering about the whereabouts of former Real “Housewife” of Atlanta Lisa Wu Hartwell since her departure from the show…. well she was spotted recently lip locking with some dude.
And no… it wasn’t her fine “A”zz hubby Ed!!
Details below…
Have no fear… Lisa’s smooch was all a part of the act!
Hartwell hit the stage alongside former NFL baller Karon Joseph Riley (Actress Terri Vaughn’s hubby) in the stage play “Stripped” to benefit the Georgia Prostate Cancer Coalition of Atlanta, GA..
Lisa was among several Atlanta celebs who graced the stage in former Superbowl champ Dorsey Levens’ stage play, including former NFL players Dorsey Levens, Ryan Stewart, Ed Hartwell and Karon Joseph Riley.
Atlanta’s own Rashan Ali (formerly of V-103) also appeared in the stage play.
April Love & Lisa Wu
“Stripped” offered a fly on the wall look into the lives of professional football players and what they must give up for the fame and fortune… and questioned who will stand beside them when the money is spent and the good life is gone?
The play made its debut in Atlanta with performances at the Ga Tech Ferst Center for the Arts July 27-31, 2011.
[Sidebar: I seriously hate I couldn't make it out to see the show firsthand, but I appreciate the invite Miss Love! xxoo]
Dorsey Levins was also presented the prestigious Phoenix Award by Atlanta Mayor Kasim Reed’s office, who sent along the following message:
Your desire to produce quality plays that challenge our theatre artists, inspire and provoke audiences to thought and dialogue, and push the physical, visual and design elements of production, will not only resonate in the theater arena, but also your place within it.
The City of Atlanta applauds you for accepting this bold charge.
Congrats to Dorsey Levins, Lisa Wu Hartwell and the cast of “Stripped” for a successful run!
I kinda almost miss Lisa on RHOA… don’t you?

NO… NOT AT ALL! I think she’s a classy chick, though. I’ve been *side eyeing* her & Ed. He would ALWAYS be w/ her, now, he’s never w/ her. Maybe he working now. Hmmmmm.
Oh I was about to be mad as hell at Lisa. It was only for a play. I love her and Ed together.
No she was to wholesome for that show. Drama is more interesting
No…she is ok but she was tht one person who liked to throw rocks then hide her hands. If ur going to create drama, at least see it through til the end…Ole scary a**!!!
I liked Lisa. She was interesting yet drama free. I hope she makes more appearances. Too much of Nene is exhausting.
Bobby V?? (The "V" must stand for "Veneers" now huh?)(o_O)
I think Lisa Wu Hartwell was and is way too classy for RHOA and she’s moved on to bigger and better things and that’s good for her! They left the right ones on the show, the ones they know gone act a fool for the camera! I wish her the best and I want to see this play! I love plays!
I wish Lisa Wu Hartwell nothing but success.. I really miss her on The Real Housewives of Atlanta too.. As long as she and Ed are happy..
no.
season 4 come on already
I don’t miss Lisa on RHOA but I do miss that well built husband of hers. How come she don’t have more babies? I’d stay pregnant if I were married to him.
I WAS MISSING HER A LITTLE SHE BROUGHT SOME NORMALCY TO A SHOW FULL OF DRAMA. I HEARD THAT ALOT OF THE DRAMA WAS PHONY AND THE PRODUCERS WANTED HER AND HER HUSBAND TO ACT LIKE THEY HAVE DRAMA IN THEIR MARRIAGE FOR RATINGS. SHE SAID SHE WASNT DOING IT. I HEAR THATS THE REAL REASON SHE LEFT.
I miss her but I’m kind of glad she is not doing it. She is way too classy for that show.
well j hud’s sis lost a few lbs.
as for the twitter battle…it was hilarious!
Couldn’t Miss Wholesome tell her castmate to keep his hands above the behind for ‘the kiss’. I know they are only acting(so are porn stars ^_^), his hands are still roaming.
Kissing and roaming hands is a bit much for such a wholesome woman, acting or not!
I miss her on the show, too. I stopped watching the show after they got rid of her and Deshawn, the only two "normal" people on the show.
