As you know, Miss O recently named herself as CEO and Chief Creative Officer of OWN (the Oprah Winfrey Network) and she recently took a moment out of her busy schedule to update fans of her whereabouts via the social networking site Twitter:
The move expanded on Oprah’s former role as chairman of the channel, she is “officially” scheduled to begin in her new position sometime this Fall
Speaking of Fall, Miss O will be making her way to Atlanta mid-October for a day filled with panels and workshops specifically designed to encourage you to be your best!
Oprah will hit Atlanta ctober 15, 2011 for her “O You!” workshop, an all-day event held at the Georgia World Congress Center.
Winfrey will be speaking during the event, as well as Gayle King, Suze Orman, Dr. Oz, Bob Greene, Nate Berkus and more.
Tickets are $125, so if you’re in the need for some Oprah motivation, you need to make your way on down to the congress center.
Me? I’m still utilizing the energy I received from Miss O during our mystical handshake at the end of her Oprah Show finale. I’m still floating from that day but who knows? I may float on down there too…

I’m usually at work during that time but on vacations and late nights on OWN it’s good to keep up and now that they are showing past episodes I feel like HELL YEAH she is missed and the void will not be adequately replaced……..
