Word on the curb is that Soulja Boy, aka DeAndre Cortez Way aka New School Tupac, just made a major purchase recently in honor of his 21st birthday.
He just bought himself a shiny red $189,000 Bentley Continental GT back in April and now there are reports that SB has squandered millions on a private jet! *sigh*

So I was alerted to Soulja Boy’s major purchase when he tweeted this article written by TMZ:
…the 21-year-old rapper is dropping $55 MILLION on a new private jet.
A member of Soulja’s management team tells us … the kid bought himself a G5 jet as a birthday present to himself this week.
The jet cost $35 mil … but that’s just the beginning. We’re told the birthday boy is dropping an additional $20 million to pimp out his ride with all sorts of cool stuff … like 12 custom Italian leather seats, flat screen TVs, 4 liquor bars, a special travertine tiled floor, and Brazilian hardwood cabinets.
Immediately my spidey senses started tingling… I mean, SB does have a ton of dough, no doubt about that, but he ain’t got THAT much!
When you check Forbes Wealthiest Hip-Hoppers list, you’ll find Diddy, Jay-Z, Birdman, Dr. Dre and 50 Cent… no Soulja Boy.
[Sidebar: My sources say that SouljaBoy's net worth was only somewhere around $25 million back in February 2011, but I can't find anything to substantiate that claim.]
Whatever the case, I seriously doubt that he dropped that kinda cash on jet. Maybe he leased it or something.

That man is human, whether or not he made a mistake , or has ulterior motives , all we can do is wait and see how it plays out. As far as questioning why he has this much money or anything like that, who are we to judge. We don’t know what he really does, what he really stands for, what’s going on behind closed doors. The most of us look at his image and judge, and that is human nature. It’s for certain that he’s got a certain image in the public but whether or not he is really like this, can not be answered on the outside looking in. Is he just another greedy rapper looking out for him self or is he someone with bigger plans. Just remember that in today’s society , a positive prosperous image that encourages change is not that apealing to those who need the most change.
