DaBrat Does DRAG! Rocks Dresses & Heels in VIBE… [PHOTOS]

Shaunte Harris aka DaBrat recently got all “Fem’d” up for a photoshoot for VIBE Magazine’s Summer of Celeb’s in Swimwear issue…

No, she’s not overexposed in a cut-out swimsuit or vintage bikini. Instead, she’s donning casual chic summer wear that’s appropriate for all types of summer fun.

In maxi dresses, khaki shorts and an oversized cream-colored blouse, Da Brat rocks a head full of bodaciously brown curls and really exudes a soft, yet sultry demeanor. Appropriate? Most definitely.

I can just hear her PR now… “Girrrrrl if you wanna get ‘em talkin’ WEAR A DRESS!”

GlobalGrind’s website recently posted the photo above attempting to pass it off as Lil Wayne and Lauren London’s son Cameron…

Unfortunately they got it all wrong.

Just for the record, the photo they posted is of Lil Wayne’s 12 year old daughter Reginae Carter holding Brenton Brooks, the adorable son of Joi Pearson & Vaushaun Brooks.

GG subsequently corrected the post and asks…

Cameron has been kept under wraps since his birth, and still has not been seen in the media. When will a real picture actually come out?

Waka may be well-known for his troubles with the law, but he’s also taken time in the past to make a fan’s wish come true.

Unfortunately for Waka, the good things get overshadowed by his negative press, and now he has one more bad thing to add to his resume!

Usher Raymond IV posed with his adorable son Usher Raymond V (Cinco) during his New Look Foundation Conference last weekend.

The 3-day event took place in Atlanta, Georgia July 20-22, 2011 and this year’s conference theme, “One World Powered By Service,” focused on two days of substantive workshops.

The Conference finale was held Friday, July 22nd, with the second annual World Leadership Awards at the Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre.

Media mogul Ted Turner was honored with the Service Legacy Award, which last year was presented to President Bill Clinton.

Several newsmakers, business leaders, artists, musicians, journalists and local personalities like Atlanta Mayor Kasim Reed, Atlanta Falcons’ Ovie Mughelli, American Idol Melinda Doolittle, Celebrity Photographer Derek Blanks played a part of this year’s event.

Newsflash! Amy Winehouse Died of Suspected Drug Overdose…

Amy Winehouse was found dead in her home over the weekend (July 23, 2011). She was only 27 years old.

While an official cause of death is still unknown, there have been mounting reports that alcohol and drugs were consumed by the embattled star just hours prior to her death.

Friends of the fallen star have come forward to reveal Amy purchased ecstasy, cocaine, heroin and ketamine the day of her death

Is Amy Winehouse’s death a case of yet another life gone too soon or did her short 27 years on this earth far exceed her life expectancy?

Many feel it was the latter…

Young Jeezy traded his infamous “Blue Lambo” for a Black Ferrari a while back and loves to show off his new whip around town.

Jeezy was cruising through the streets of Buckhead in his slick black ride yesterday (July 24, 2011), when he was pulled over and “questioned” by Atlanta police officers.
