Two weddings are always better than one and Keyshia Cole appears to be following in her former BFF’s Monica’s footsteps, planning a huge 2nd wedding to her baller boo, Daniel “Boobie” Gibson.
Now I dunno about you… but I’m sensing a bit of “friendly” competition amongst these two ladies, who USED to be cooler than a polar bear’s toenails.
As you know Keysh met her baller boo way before Mo met Shannon, and she and Boobie had an adorable son together prior to their jumping the broom May 21, 2011.

Keyshia may have dropped her baller’s baby first, but it was Monica who made it to the alter first. After only 5 months of dating Laker Shannon Brown, Mo sealed the deal on November 22, 2010 in a private ceremony held at Shannon’s L.A. home.
In part two of their friendly rivalry, Monica is still on her honeymoon after tying the knot (again) with Shannon in a lavish ceremony filled with family and friends (and no Keyshia).
And now here comes Keyshia planning her wedding #2…
I think I get it now. Keyshia didn’t make time to appear in (or even AT) Monica’s fairytale wedding and it may be due to the fact that Keyshia had been planning her fairytale wedding #2 all along and Mo totally stole her thunder.
I’d be a lil bit salty too… 
Seriously, if there wasn’t an issue between the two of them, as close as these two were, NOTHING shoulda kept Keyshia away from Monica’s wedding.
Hopefully these ladies will kiss and make-up soon.
[Sidebar: I'm merely assessing the situation from the outside, so this is in no way concrete proof of any dissension between the two. I'm just sayin... ]

I agree. There is something going on between the two of them. You can’t tell me that Monica (who hasn’t spoken about Keyshia or TO her in months) wasn’t disappointed her friend wasn’t there. Keyshia even tweeted from the waterpark as Monica was walking down the aisle so we know she is only making excuses about her absence.
I’ll believe there is no beef when I hear it from Monica.

I like them both and doubt there is any competition going on but even the best of friends will act crazy when planning their weddings. As for the tats, yeah Mo had hers first and she got both Brandy and KC on the tat stroll – that’s what I remember. Blonde hair? Hell Etta James been done that. Keysha was on tour and she may have been at a water park earlier the concerts dont usually start until night time anyway. (She and Kells had a great show) Tours dont just start the month of, they have contracts to be signed, attys have been consulted, things are already in place well before that opening night of the tour. I am sure by the time the wedding date was picked the tour dates were also picked. Monica is in the business and she knows all about contracts and getting sued for not doing dates you have been paid for. They both are doing the 2nd wedding bc they both had private weddings that included only them and they wanted to do one that included family and friends so they planned the bigger celebration for later when they had time to plan everything. Keyshia got married in May just before starting her tour in June, she could have been planning it but with the baby and preparations for the tour it took more time than she had. Mo did the same spur of the momnet wedding then took time months later to plan her lavish wedding. I dont think this has anything to do with competition they just wanted to get married and include their fam/friend. Besides whatever is or may be going on with them is their business. ppl are always starting messy shid.
