Monica’s Missy Elliott produced track “Any (To Find You)” has been put on ice… indefinitely!
The song, which was featured on The “A” Pod a few days ago, samples Notorious B.I.G.’s “Who Shot Ya?” and features raps from Rick Ross and Lil Kim.

Apparently Biggie’s mom, Voletta Wallace. cleared the sample for use, but (peep this) she retracted the clearance once she found out Lil Kim was on the song. 
Wallace isn’t putting a stop to the entire song, just the 16 bars that Lil Kim laid down on the track.
Monica hit up Twitter to express her disappointment in Ms. Wallace’s decision and said she’s going to do whatever it takes to keep Lil Kim on the project…
Lil Kim burned her bridges with Miss Wallace long ago and it appears that it has never been rebuilt.
[Sidebar: Am I the only one wondering if Keyshia Cole's no show at Monica's recent fairy tale wedding to Shannon Brown, was the result of KeyCo feeling 'some kinda way' about Mo's "ride or die" friendship with Lil Kim? It's no secret that Keyshia was publicly beefing with Lil Kim just a few months ago (Click HERE if you missed it), so it's not really that far fetched. ]
At any rate, I think Mo will be fighting a losing battle in this war, but I wish her all the best. The song will be just as hot without Lil Kim in my opinion.
What are your thoughts on this Lil Kim/Biggie Mama Drama? Should Mo just stay out of it and keep it moving, or stand up for her “friend” at the risk of losing the entire song?

Im half and half…but if she said no, then let it, you have to honor and respect her wishes…she has probably been through a lot and still going through with the loss of her son…and who knows about the situation with him and Kim involving her*Valletta* we only know what we see and hear and not always how it really was behind closed doors…
And the other half of me is like along as she’s and his children will reap the benefit, why not…sometimes everything is not for everybody to have say, including me….
Ms. Wallace needs to get over herself. This doesn’t have anything to do with her directly nor is it disrespectful. At this point, I wouldn’t consider anything she had to say. If she doens’t like it so much don’t take the profits either. Sometimes people get in their own way.
Unless her initial approval included the exclusion of lil Kim in any way, she has no further say IMO. I’d sue her for something- if nothing else for all the time and money spent after she gave her approval on the use of the song. What if they’d released the song and brought her in later on a remix?
If Miss Wallace is mad at anyone it should be Puffy, who includes Biggie’s Entire Catalog in his net worth.

Some people just have their diffrences mo need to do what right.
Ms. Wallace get over it. People have gone on with their lives and your still harboring ill feelings about a situation that involved your grown son and the women that he loved. She’s cutting her nose to spite her face. With Kim on the song, this would generate loads of revenue and rekindled memory of Biggie. This music has to be put out with Kim included. Keep the faith Monica & Missy. Kim will be apart of this song.
