The Queen of Hip-Hop Soul Mary J. Blige opened up the 2011 BET Awards by performing a slew of her past hit songs.
Blige, dressed in a skintight white outfit, began the set with her ’90s hits ‘Mary Jane’ and ‘Real Love,’ and then introduced the legendary Anita Baker, giving her props for inspiring her during her career.
“This song I’m about to sing — if it was never made, I would not be here tonight.”
It was an emotional moment until Twitter went wild buzzing about the fact that Anita rocked the EXACT same dress she wore when she performed during the 2010 Soul Train Awards in Atlanta…
Sadly… all that twitter buzz was true…

Now I know Ms. Baker has enough gowns in her closet that she didn’t have to repeat that black lacy number!
All jokes aside Anita Baker still looks FABULOUS!! And who cares if Anita Baker wore the same dress to two different award shows? I mean really… how many fancy dresses does one need anyway?? *shrug*
But I digress…
After her performance with Ms. Same Dress Baker, Mary premiered a brand new single featuring Jadakiss & DJ Khaled.

Mary premiered a new song called ‘It Ain’t Over Til It’s Over,’ and was accompanied by Jadakiss and DJ Khaled. The tune is a club banger that features Jadakiss delivering a few rap verses and Khaled serving as hype man. According to RapRadar, the track is set to surface on Khaled’s upcoming album, ‘We the Best Forever.

I thought it was just me. She wears that same dress suit for every performance. A well known comedian made a joke about it late last year after her appearance on the Monique Show and ever since then it’s been the same dress suit. She may need to come by my place to get a change of wardrobe for the next performance. She is a great artist but i hate to see her go like that.

Maybe it’s just me but I really don’t pay people that MUCH attention to even remember what they wear.I think people that do have entirely too much time on their hands.
