Imitation is the best form of flattery but I’m sick of her. I’ve heard her original music and it’s not the bomb. To take what someone else does and improve on it is MUCH EASIER than being the original.
I’m not a Nicki lover, but damn. Also, she slows the beat down just a touch in order to master the flow. She "spits" when she catches up to the original tempo. @@ Whatever. Its nice for them to have a viral buzz, but I’ll be impressed when her original shizz can keep up with the Black Jones. Lets see what she can do with a Katy Perry song or Carrie Underwood.

I enjoyed it. She does give Nicki a run for her money. Its funny to me how people criticize the cover but never the original artist. Nicki is lacking energy on this record.
She kilt it! Sorry, but I think she brought a lot more energy to the song then Nicki did…not to mention she sings the hook and bridge flawlessly! Loves It!!
How the heck do you get Questlove to do a cover with some YouTube hauxs? Either way, I think these two are entertaining.
She did a great job, but I am getting sick of her just getting publicity for her covers, and not her original music. It is not hard to cover other people’s work…with enough practice anyone could do so.
Like many people have stated before me, It is much easier to cover a song than it is to write a song and be successful with it. People say she gives Nicki a run for money, and how so? Nicki is the one MAKING SUCCESSFUL music, while Amy or w/e just covers it and her original music isn’t what makes her popular in the first place. You can’t survive in the music industry by covering everyone’s songs. You need to make successful music of your own which is not what she does. If anything, NICKI is the one who gives HER the run for HER money, sorry kiddies. Amy is pretty good, I won’t lie. And no. She does NOT do Nicki Better than Nicki does Nicki. I don’t even see where you got that from. Nicki’s voice is something you can’t top. Especially the energy, animated facial expressions and animated sound effects in her music is something no one can top BUT herself. It annoys me how people say she did Nicki Better than Nicki did herself when all she did was rap her parts. That’s nothing. I bet I could do it just as good as Amy and no one would think that. The truth is she’s just getting all this hype BECAUSE she is a white girl and it seems to be SO fascinating to see a "white" girl or person for that matter to be able to cover some black person’s song. Let me tell you. It’s not fascinating at all. They do it all the time and it’s been done before any of our time. And let me tell you this, it is VERY hard to duplicate a song of a black person because of the soul within the music of most black music which is not a common trait in other types of music. Sorry, I could go on all day about how you are very incorrect. Props to Nicki and Props to Amy too, she did cool. But let’s see her try to make her own rap and hip hop music. Let’s see if she’ll be giving Nicki a run for her money then. OH, and also, let me see her top Nicki’s freestyles too. Yeah, didn’t think so.
