Supermodel Cynthia Bailey of The Real Housewives of Atlanta and her new hubby Peter Thomas are fast approaching their first anniversary.

The couple tied the knot July 10, 2010 and have enjoyed almost a year of wedded bliss, however Cynthia kissed a lotta frogs before she finally found her prince charming!

Bachelor #1 ~ Russell Simmons

On dating Russell:

There’s two Russells: There was Russell that we knew 25 years ago and there is the new, vegan, yoga Russell. I think more than anything he was just persistent, like, borderline stalking at that point because he would just not take no for an answer.

He wasn’t my type, you know. He was still wearing the paisley wool shirts and the jeans and he was sending flowers and every second was like, ‘Please, please, please, please.

But I was like, ‘Alright, if I just go to lunch with you, will you stop sending me flowers?’ So I came to lunch and that’s when I met Andre (Harrell), who had just signed Al B. Sure.

Their 7-month relationship ended after Cynthia had “reasonable doubt” to believe Uncle Russ was being unfaithful.

Bachelor #2 ~ Jayson “Big Daddy” Williams

After dating abroad in Paris the fresh faced model started up a romance with NBA all-star turned tabloid sensation Jayson Williams.

He proposed to me at halftime at a New Jersey Nets basketball game . . .  I just have to say, Jayson Williams was just the sweetest guy. You know the whole thing that happened with his sister; that’s why he was so tortured.

When AIDS happened, before we even new what it was, basically, Jayson’s sister was one of the first big AIDS cases in New York City where you literally had to go in a suit to see them because they didn’t know if you could get it from being in there in the hospital.

She got it from a blood transfusion. But he never recovered from that . . . He just had a great life and then just a very sad life.

Sad indeed. Williams is currently serving 5 years in prison after hiding the shooting death of his limo driver.

Bachelor #3 ~ Leon Robinson aka “The actor known as ‘LEON‘”

I met Leon at a BET event. He was with Bob Johnson and I was with some girlfriends doing girls’ night out in New York City. And he was just one of those people that I just knew if I ever met him, he was just gonna get it.

And got it he did! While her relationship (and subsequent marriage) with Lil Richard’s stunt double didn’t stand the test of time, it did produce a beautiful daughter, Noelle Robinson.

A chance meeting with husband Peter (and an introduction by wing-man Lyor Cohen) on a flight down to Miami sealed the deal and the rest is history.

Just FYI… The Real Housewives of Atlanta is currently taping around town for their upcoming 4th season.

As reported earlier, there have been no changes to the cast (yet) but the buzz is that Kimmie is doing double duty by shooting for both RHOA and her new show that focuses on her new life with Kroy and Kroy’s baby…
