Beyonce and Jay-Z recently left Paris after a few days of wedded bliss, but it’s back to business and drama for the “Bootylicious” beauty after a lawsuit was against her filed this week.
Gate Five LLC is calling Beyonce the Grinch who “destroyed” its business and “drove 70 people into unemployment” just one week prior to Christmas.
According to the NYPost, a lawsuit filed in Manhattan Supreme Court claims Mrs. Carter is to blame for lost revenue and several jobs after she abruptly bailed out of a deal to commercialize the video game Starpower: Beyoncé.
In the suit, Gate Five claims it lost $6.7 million dollars in investment money as well as over $100 million in profits they would have earned had the deal survived.
“Her actions were so unscrupulous that her then-manager [who is also her dad] renounced them, while a senior executive of the company…condemned her conduct as ‘morally reprehensible’ in an email he sent to one of her talent agents,” the suit says.
No word from Beyoncé or her camp on the pending legal issue.
