I always do those “incredible shrinking woman” posts about Jennifer Hudson, Queen Latifah & Mo’Nique… and they all totally inspired me. Now I can finally put ME in one.
I made a promise to my loyal readers that I would make a video once I lost 50 pounds and I’m proud to keep my promise…

OK… I confess! I was tired of all y’all holding my weight against me. I mean… every time I said something on the site someone didn’t like, it was blah blah fat this or shut your fat that. I was so over it.
Tameka Foster Glover Raymond even called me “Precious” one time. I laughed at the haters but they were right. I was fat. I knew that I’d gained a lot of weight over the past two years. My closet was suffering and while I still had a shoe fetish, my feet were killing me carrying around all that excess baggage on 5 inches.
I admit I had a ball but those late hours in so & so’s studio combined with my favorite mojito’s and Waffle House chicken melts totally ruined my waistline and I had to do something about it.
Enter Dr. Scott from Dramatic Weight Loss. He contacted me about partnering with him to get the word out about their great program and while I was totally pessimistic…. I said I would give it a week I ended up giving them 4 months and counting.
Within the first month I lost 25lbs and did a post entitled “How to Jumpstart Your New Years Resolutions” about my weight loss journey with Dramatic Weight Loss.
I kept going and while I had the occasional slip up… (shout out to Drama Dupree), I’ve finally reached my 50lb mark. (Actually it’s 55 but who’s counting?)
Several of my readers have already joined the program and we are all gettin fine for the summertime. We can do this thing together!

You inspired me with the New Years Eve article. I don’t live in Atlanta but we do have a Diet Dr. Program here in Bowling Green and I joined the program a month ago. I weigh in on Saturday but I know for a fact that I have lost several inches and I feel a whole lot better. So thanks for the motivation!

Congrats. I am on my last day of my 7 day cabbage soup diet and by day 5 I had the shakes out of this world. Keep up the good work. This diet shat is for the birds! I want a shake and some chinese food!
