A southwest Atlanta mother and grandmother has decided to take extreme measures to meet her idol Oprah Winfrey, she’s growing her fingernails as long as she can!
Jazz Ison Sinkfield wants to meet Oprah Winfrey “and a lot of more celebrities” so they can bask in the glory of her extended fingernails, the longest of which reaches 24 inches.
Sinkfield says growing her nails is “a gift and…a talent too, because it’s something that everyone cannot do.”
Maintaining them requires five hours at the salon each month, and Sinkfield pays a whopping $250 to her manicurist each visit.
Of course there are several things she can’t do with her hands, like tie her shoes, type or bowl, and while Sinkfield admits other women “toot their noses up” at her, she says her long nails are a beautiful fashion statement.
