Last night the dungeon family’s own BlackOwned C-Bone and DJ Aaries played host to several of Atlanta’s top DJ’s and media at the legendary Stankonia Studios to give a sneak peek of C-Bone’s upcoming album.
Of course my boo Antwan “Big Boi” Patton was there in support of his homie…

Also spotted was Mike Bigga (aka Killer Mike), Wingo (Jagged Edge), Goodie Mob’s Khujo Goodie, Dungeon Family’s Backbone and more… It was a hometown celebration reppin’ all things ATL!

Random story about Mike… he’s the reason I’m still blogging today. Mike and I had a long talk about two years ago at a video shoot and I recall confiding in him how I was thinking about giving up on blogging because I was working too hard and wasn’t seeing any benefits. Mike gave me a lil pep talk and strongly encouraged me to continue on my grind, telling me that Atlanta needed a legitimate voice….someone who lived it before it was what it is today. I took his advice and stayed true and I’ll always love him for that.
Big thangs are in the works for C-Bone…. stay tuned!
