Sean “Diddy” Combs hosted a breast cancer fundraiser in New York last month, but it seems like someone forgot to brief him on the details. Now Diddy is being labeled as a ‘Deadbeat” after what he feels is a huge misunderstanding.
Diddy was asked to host a “Pink Party” for two breast cancer organizations and the party was to be billed as a take-off of Diddy’s legendary white party, at which all attendees are required to wear all white. During the “Pink Party”, attendees were asked to wear a touch of pink in recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness Month but apparently Diddy, who was hosting the event, didn’t get that memo… as he wasn’t wearing a stitch of pink at all and seemed to be unaware that he was even in violation.
Ok.. clothing issues aside, Diddy also managed to “cash in” on the charitable event. Pocketing thousands of dollars as his “hosting fee” while the event organizers were left with nothing but lent!
Representatives from the breast cancer organizations claim they haven’t seen any of the money that was raised that evening.
“We never got a penny,” Carolyn Spector, director of the Long Island Plastic Surgical Group Foundation, told the New York Post. “Nothing was written down, but we were told we would get part of the take,” she said. “The terminology was ‘proceeds from the event.’”
Diddy declined to say how much he pocketed. The charities said they were told it was $80,000.“It was agreed that if there was a profit, a portion of it would be given to the charity,” said Glo spokeswoman Danielle Orsino. “But the night of the event, there was a torrential rainstorm. They expected thousands and only a few hundred showed up. So they lost money.”
Diddy, however, definitely didn’t lose any money. The charities say Diddy left with $80,000. The nightclub says he walked out with a “considerable amount of money.” Diddy refused to comment on how much he made that night.
Diddy told the New York Post that he did nothing wrong and doesn’t owe the charities a dime…
“I didn’t know what the [club] owner promised — that had nothing to do with me. I had no information about the charity. When the event was booked, it was just for an appearance.
I agreed to let him add the charity because I thought it was a good idea.” (source)

Man the celebs. They will stop allowing their fans to follow their every move on the internet untill we spend our hard earned money for a charity even. If you ask any of them who blow money on expensive shopping, cars, dinners, jewerly etc. to donate it’s hell no! I’m not surprised.
I’m a bar owner on longisland having a outdoor breast cancer charity show… I have 15 bands playing, snapple donating all beverages, also we have outdoor liqour license, EA sports bringing bus for kids as well as child protection setting up for prints for children safety, catus salon hair styles cutting for charity, 2 tattoo artist donating ribbon tattoos, Ron Harper NBA champion already confirmed hes comming also Lawrence Taylor is sending sign jersey and helmet… also lots of great other stuff….
LONGISLAND WOMEN 1in 4 HAVE BREAST CANCER… please would help and be great look for mr. combs to help little town in LongIsland for this cause. proble a long shot but for this I am passionate so please respond…
