This is the first photo of Lil Wayne leaving Riker’s Island this morning a free man. Fellow blogger KarenCivil snagged a snapshot of a photo from a photographer’s digital camera.
According to KC:
In the early hours of Thursday morning, there was word floating around that Lil Wayne would have to wait an additional day to be released due to “miscalculated” time. Turns out out that was just a rumor because at approximately 8:35 a.m., the Young Money head honco became a free man for the first time in eight months.
Always with a camera, Scoob Doo managed to snap one of the first pictures of Weezy out of the bing. Expect to see this on the Nino Brown DVD.
Of course his entire Cash Money/Young Money crew was there to welcome him to freedom, including Birdman and YM freshman Bow Wow. Let the mixtapes begin…
