Newlyweds Clifford “T.I.” Harris and his wife of a lil over a month, Tameka “Tiny” Cottle were busted last night in L.A. for possession of drugs!!
The couple just got married on July 30 in Miami [READ: Inside T.I. and Tiny's Miami Wedding] and T.I. — real name Clifford Harris Jr. — is still on probation after doing seven months in prison on federal weapons charges.
How could this happen… now? Especially after the pair is riding on the success of “Takers” being number one in the box office? Is it a set up… or merely the stupidity of people who can get out the ghetto but can’t get the ghetto outta them?

According to online reports, Cops pulled over T.I.’s ultra-expensive Maybach on Sunset Blvd around 10:18 PM for a traffic violation and then smelled marijuana. During a subsequent search of the vehicle, cops say they found a controlled substance — we’re told it was not cocaine. The class of the controlled substance that was found includes methamphetamines and ecstasy.
“Tiny” was taken to a separate squad car — both were transported to a local Sheriff’s station. Both were booked on possession of controlled substances.
TMZ later revealed that the couple was sipping from several styrofoam cups found in the automobile that contained the controlled substance:
Take a close look at the photo of T.I. getting arrested … and focus on the styrofoam cups in the front and back cupholders … although cops aren’t saying which controlled substance they found in the car, there seems to be evidence of Sizzurp … aka purple drank … aka codeine syrup.

Whatever the situation turns out to be, with his "freedom" currently in the hands of the government Tip should have made sure that no one in his immediate space was carryin anything…point blank… you want to remain free then you have to follow those conditions that were read/conditioned to you upon your release… I will not jump to say who had what, but he is grown, as well as his wife and they both knew what the consequences of their/ or their friends actions would be on his current state of freedom…. so oh well…I still like them both…….*cue Florida Evans……damn, damn, damn!
I really didn’t think that he could outdo buying guns on the way to an awards show. Fresh out of the slammer. Still on probation no less. And on top of that…a newlywed. OH, let’s not forget, driving a Maybach. The Maybach by itself draws enough attention. He has to be one of the most IGNORANT men of this century!

According to his probation terms he cannot even be around drugs, so even if they were not his, it is still a violation.
Yet we all continue to support him and fill his pockets with money so that he can continue to do stupid sh*t. T.I and Tiny are hood and they will always be hood ain’t nothing gonna change that. And when you put hood and stupid together you get T.I. and Tiny

First, I’m in awe about this entire issue. I’ve been routing for these two. Their family’s new success with the new album, marriage, and new movie went way beyond any hater’s expectations. You see…the "big head" is a mofo. Always keep a slice of humble pie near you at all times.
This increased stardom allowed him to put his guards down. Whether the drugs were planted on him or not, he forgot that he’s under constant surveillance. Which means that the time he served was piece of cake. They’ve been watching for him to do anything and he gave them a reason.
In the end, i hope that they can overcome this trial. I don’t want to see him in prison for such a stupid mistake. Nonetheless, violation of probation means exactly what it says.
