Meet Tyler Craig, age 44. You may recognize Tyler’s face if you’re a fan of BET’s comic view. Tyler, an Atlanta native, is a comedian who regularly performed stand-up on the show.
The dread headed funnyman was arrested in downtown Atlanta Wednesday evening for failure to pay his child support.
Craig was caught off guard as he dined at a Tapas Lounge on Peters Street in Atlanta and officers took him iinto custody on a child support warrant.
Bet he wasn’t laughing when cops told him to drop the finger food and assume the position!
According to the DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office Fugitive Squad, Craig owes over $13,000 in back child support and was arrested for failing to comply with a court order.
Craig has opened for some well-known comedians, such as Chris Tucker, as well as various musicians. He’s also a regular act at Atlanta comedy clubs around town.

I always wondered why they locked up people for child support. He’s in jail now… so he definitely can’t pay. One things for sure, I bet when he gets out he’ll make those payments on time!

My son’s father gets arrested almost every year for child support. Usually they hold them for bail and the child support is paid that way. Before they arrest them the license (driving license, business license, liquor license) is suspended. I believe also they suspend the passport as well.
For me, arresting him has been effective.
That’s my dude and the moral of this story is pay ya mutherf*ucking child support…
