After an alleged suicide attempt and weeks of bad press that made it all the way to CNN and back, Fantasia’s married boyfriend, Antwuan Cook, is finally speaking up on her behalf.
Cook, pictured above in a promo pic from his side gig as a Real Estate agent, is a married father of two who’s been frolicking the earth with Fantasia while his wife Paula has been home with the kids, watching it all unfold on TV.
Antwaun’s wife, Paula Cook, eventually got fed up and has been hitting the media with statements regarding Fantasia breaking up their happy home and even tried to put the American Idol winner on blast by revealing a sex tape:

Antwuan finally speaks out and admits that Fantasia is an innocent victim in the sordid threesome. In a statement released by his attorney, he wants the world to know…
Antwaun would be remiss not to address the criticism and judgment he has received. He knew Fantasia Barrino but the failure of his marriage can in no way be blamed on anyone except the two people that were a part of the union – Paula and Antwaun.
[Paula and Antwaun] expected their marriage to stand the test of time. Unfortunately, like many marriages, it did not turn out as planned. In late summer 2009, after years of discussion, the parties separated with the intention of no longer being married.
Although I know it’ll never happen, Antwaun should bear the brunt of this situation. He obviously lied to Tasia about the status of his relationship in the beginning.
If you recall, Fantasia says she thought he was separated when they began dating last year, while Paula has stated in her court documents that the two didn’t split until June 16, 2010.
Maybe Antwaun’s wife was married with kids and he wasn’t. I’m confused….

Hi, men will lie to get what they want but I will say this He should not have lied and his wife is just looking for a way to get some money because she is broke and they might have not been together and if they was his wife wasn’t doing her job it was not only him in the marriage by himself. But the women is only seeking money because what is she didn’t be who she is she would not be getting any money she would just be a made bitch.
I feel that we as people make mistakes and Fantasia just found herself in a vulnerable situation. I do not believe that she broke up there home but if a person says they are separated that means they are still married.It does not matter if he is not staying with the wife until it says divorce then there is nothing to talk about. Judge yourself that ye be not Judged. Fantasia didn’t Judge herself. Her Aunt Bunny and mother asked her point blank about this man and she lied. Fantasia knew that he wasn’t legally seperated and free to date. The result was a pregnancy and an abortion. Now she is pregnant again and still dealing with a married man. Why is he still married?
