Maia Campbell took the above mugshot last month, just a few weeks prior to this 2nd disturbing video surfaced on the net.
According to SandraRose, the 33 year old former actress is now incarcerated:
Maia was arrested on On July 5th in Santa Monica, CA after being videotaped in a drug-induced haze. She remains incarcerated on $40,000 bond at the same facility where actress Lindsay Lohan was jailed. This is her 2nd arrest.
Maia is the daughter of famed author BeBe Moore Campbell and starred in numerous TV sitcoms and bit roles in movies such as Poetic Justice alongside Janet Jackson and Tupac. She gained internet notoriety after a slew of videos surfaced where she was clearly drugged and acting bizarrely.

The one good thing about her arrest is that she may finally get some help. It’s still a sad situation though.

May The Almighty cover her. She looks like a 45+ year old woman. This is truly sad. She prolly has NOBODY out there pulling for her. This is truly sad.
So why is she STILL in jail after a month (on $40,000 bond (meaning she just needs $4,000 to get out) and Lindsay Hohan got out of the SAME jail after two weeks because of "Overcrowding" AND they sent the bitch to rehab… That’s a cold game… Maybe Maia family’s through with her… smh..
She looks like a corpse!!! I’ve heard the mental illness thing floating around, but if she TRULY had a illness her family could have done the same thing as Brittany Spears family and had her admitted to a psych hospital via Section 5150 of California’s Welfare and Institution Codes. It demands a psychiatric evaluation if the patient is a danger to him or herself, or others. Maia is simply a crack head with a very bad habit. She’s almost hit rock bottom carrying around crack pipes…….that’s so 1990′s. Anyway, my prayer is that she is saved and has already accepted Christ, becuase from the looks of it she is dead.

@Missy. Maia Campbell’s family issued a statement last year after the infamous car in the hood video surface in which her father and grandmother both said publicly that she is definately mentally ill. You mentioned why don’t her family help her well maybe you have been lucky to never have dealt with someone mentally sick they are not easy to help or even deal with maybe her family got tired that’s why you see a lot of mentally ill people on the streets homeless they got family too but their relatives may not want there lives disrupted dealing with a sick person. Its ugly and sad and I pray she gets he’ll.

Yes, it is a mental health issue and things got worse when her mother passed away. Depression is a serious mental health condition and can be deadly. There was no one who would really help her. Of course several people have taken advantage of her. It is so sad. Maybe jail is the best thing for her now. She’ll have to go cold turkey off of the drugs and hopefully they will put her back on her medicine.
