Two of Atlanta’s finest, Clifford “T.I.” Harris and Keri “Miss Keri Baby” Hilson, combine forces in “Got Your Back.” In the song, featured HERE previously on the “A” pod, Tip toasts his fiancée Tiny and salutes all the down “A”zz chicks who stick by their man through thick and thin.
Art imitates life in the new video for the song, as an actor plays an imprisoned man sustained by the love of a loyal lady back home. Of course this subject is near and dear to the heart of T.I., who spent much of 2009 behind bars on a weapons conviction. Tip honors his own real-life longtime love, former Xscape singer Tameka “Tiny” Cottle, in the clip as she makes a sweet cameo where she lovingly supports her boo.

“Got Your Back” is the latest offering from T.I.’s forthcoming King Uncaged album, due next month. The track follows “I’m Back” and “Yeah Ya Know (Takers).”
Currently, the rapper is locked in the studio with a couple of A-list producers, trying to eke out a few more tracks before he drops his new project.

This is a great T.I music video with the very beautiful Keri Hilson too. Definitely one of the hottest rap & hip hop music videos from T.I in a long while. This rap song with Keri Hilson singing the hook sounds like a smash to me too.
