Monica was the first in a slew of performers to hit the 2010 Essence Music Festival Stage.  The annual 3-day concert will be going on all of 4th of July weekend in New Orleans and includes performances from Janet Jackson, Alicia Keys, Mary J. Blige and many many many more.

Mo’s performance was the perfect grand opening to a hot, sweaty celebrity filled weekend!

  OMG mary was rockin that stage and doin her thanggg!! GET IT GIRL! i cant wait to get the essence cd and dvd when it cmes out i just bought the essence cd and dvd of last years performances and it was OFFT HE CHAIN!! i love john legend and ne-yo so muchhh!!!!!
